Just back from our monthly Afternoon tea day. The Orangery cafe this month. Seated straightaway and served within minutes for a pot of tea. Afternoon tea arrived about 5 minutes later, Dietary requirements all met nuts with no fuss. 2 adults 1 child. The child's came with the nicest looking chicken nuggets and fries, plus sandwiches and Crisps. Adults came with sausage rolls, quiche and sandwiches. The cakes were absolutely amazing too. Very very reasonably priced. One of the best we've tried. Beautiful setting, lovely atmosphere, will definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: Great food for the little ones and not over priced Parking: Carpark probably holds about 40 cars Wheelchair accessibility: It's a bit of a steep ramp but smooth and worth the workout for the cakes Dietary restrictions: My daughter had the nut free option and granddaughter can't eat egg. They didn't feel left out, plenty to eat.
Booked for my birthday, afternoon tea for 5, good choice of sandwiches, scones, cream, jam excellent cakes.
We had afternoon tea, simply gorgeous!!! We had to bring some home. The staff who were mostly volunteers were excellent Orangery was beautifully clean. Vegetarian options: Don't know. Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome and have their own menu. Parking: Close to orangery. Quite a lot of spaces Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for access. Dietary restrictions: Just ask the staff they are very helpful.
Fantastic Sunday lunch with lots of other choices . Delicious cakes and afternoon teas coffees etc etc Highly recommend . Nerd to book ahead of course . All socially distanced .

Had afternoon tea.. Good selection of sandwiches and cakes.. You have to book this 24 hours before.. Friendly staff.. All the food other customers were ordering looked very nice.. Seems to be a busy place... Lovely views plenty of seating indoors and also tables outside..
Absolutely delicious. Quick, friendly service. Great view!
Second visit for lunch with friends, great to support our local Hospice, freshly prepared food served by wonderful friendly locals.
