Shocking place, we ordered over £70 of food and everything has sugar in! EVERYTHING! Would give 0 stars if I could. Save yourselves from this place! Salt and pepper box was particularly bad.
Well just had had a takeaway from here as the one I wanted to go to was closed and it was OK but nothing to write home about. Very bland and my Singapore chow mein wasn't even the slightest bit hot. Definitely won't be going there again
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Having grown up running a Chinese takeaway, I could tell the prawn crackers were at least 3 days old. Salt and pepper box was not impressive either; Ribs barely had any meat on and was just batter, chicken balls were similar, chicken and pork nuggets were like bullets. Accompanied with chips, everything was covered and doused in sugar. Only saving grace was the special chow mein, which was only because the other dishes were severely underwhelming. Hire a different chef/s, change your recipes/ingredients, or change the business entirely.
Person on phone’s understanding of English was limited. Food was alright, prawn crackers bland and salt and pepper chicken wings covered in way too much sugar that it was sweeter than salty
Sauces are bland and gloopy. Gloopy to the point it doesnt flow off your cutlery and resembles wall paper paste. Duck and chicken were overcooked to the point they were tough and dry. Salt & pepper wings, salt & pepper chips all covered in sugar and just tasted weirdly sweet. Prawn crackers were even stale Would not recommend in the slightest... if you are desperate for a Chinese and this is the only place open, go get a dirty kebab.
One of the best Chinese takeaway meals I've had in a very long time. Hot & sour soup was delicious. So were Szechuan chicken and king prawn curry with Singapore fried rice. Portions were very generous. Prawn crackers could've been crispier but couldn't fault the main meals. Personally I find that Chinese meals are usually on a salty side but not the ones we ordered today. Would definitely be back if in the area again.
Got over 70 quids worth of food, all the salt and peppers foods were covered in sugar, a lot of sugar! All the sauce based foods were sloppy and starchy, prawn crackers were stail. Chow mein had nothing to it and bland.... go elsewhere.
We had a huge menu for 8 adults and 5 children and asked for delivery the meal was going to take a little longer but they phoned to update us. We all couldn't fault the food it was excellent and all the food was piping hot, the OK ribs were fabulous. Highly recommended by us all.
Don't be mistaken by the appearance of this business. Fantastic food and loads of it. Worth every penny.
Disappointed. I bought some takeaway salt and pepper salt & chilli chips here. Sadly I do think they're the least tasty ones I've had from a Chinese takeaway ever - they were covered in sugar and quite sickly. The women in there were lovely when we ordered, though.
