Two 9 inch pizzas one with 2 toppings and one with 3 and a 5 piece order of spicy chicken wings and an order of cheap frozen onion flavoured rings came to over £28 including delivery. Ripoff and I did not get a free cheesy garlic bread even though i did spend over £20 and should have gotten the free garlic bread. Wont bother with them again
The price hikes are getting ridiculous now. £16.70 for a single meal for delivery is just not right. That being said, we are in a crisis and everything is going up. Bit still it does seem excessive.
Ordered delivery from sizzle in again, food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Really impressed with their online ordering and delivery service, which keeps you updated with the status of your order and the expected delivery time. We had calzone and our sons had SFC and a cheeseburger; they both really enjoyed their meals the burger was awesome, apparently! We'll definitely use again next time we fancy some Friday night fast food
Terrible service. I ordered food on "Ulverston eats" from "Ulverston sizzle inn" to be delivered to "Ulverston". I phoned up to check where the food was and their response was to tell me they had cancelled my order because I live too far away. I explained the above situation and was told "Im sure you can figure it out". Would not eat here in the near future until the service improves. Lastly I would add that we left our mobile number so they could tell us of any problems but it was me that had to phone them to find out it had been cancelled. In reply to the owners comment. You made no attempt to call me on the mobile number given for such an issue. Also if you were called "Sizzle In" and based in ulverston I could understand not delivering to parts of ulverston. However if the town name is in your title I suggest delivering to all parts of it.
Perhaps a bad day in the office Before I wrote this Review I want to make it clear that when we called Sizzle in to discuss the lady we spoke to was very polite and understanding although she didn't offer any kind of suggestion and I want to also point out that this is my opinion and should not have any baring on anyone else using Sizzle In if they wish I've been a chef for 30 years and I'm pretty good at what I do , I'm passionate and I provide the best I can for the money and if I ever have a customer not happy I offer a refund or a replacement meal , no questions asked because don't we all deserve that , I'm going to give a 5 out of 10 for my experience , it would have been a much lower score had the lady we spoke to not been so nice. Ok onto the food , we ordered special Kebab Salad : chopped iceberg and tomato Garlic Sauce: watery low quality brand Chicken: 9 peices of chicken size of a 50p Nann bread : more like a chappati 2 x Fries were very good , Crispy , lacked seasoning though Kebab meat: Not the best I've ever eaten but kebab meat is what it is. Bottle of Diet Coke Delivery Total COST £22.50 I can appreciate that ulverston eats take quite a hefty service charge and delivery was quite pricey but that still leave £16.43 to play with To make the best mixed kebab you've ever tried would cost £3.70 to put together , fries X 2 and a diet coke , your looking a 5.25 all in , surely with 11 quid there's room to smash the competition into a thousand peace's Because if you won't , someone will
Just the phone order hard work, took delivery which took way over a hr after been told 40 minutes never received our free garlic bread pizza luke warm, onion rings mushy hate leaving a bad review but it filled a hole and that's about it nothing to sing home about and we won't return
Really good fresh food, thank-you
