Stumbled across this place by luck as a lot of restaurants in the area are shut Tuesday night. Tried the steak and ale pie and chips and it was incredible, Tues, Wed, Thur there is a £6 menu with plenty of choice. Would pay almost as much from the chippy for some horrid pie with hardly any meat and soggy pastry. Decent pint, will be back again soon as have decided to form Fat Club and start reviewing the places eat out. In all the excitement forgot to take a photo of the food.

Fantastic food, really fresh and hot. Great portion sizes and a really good choice for all courses. Kids menu also had a good selection. Really friendly staff and a great place to visit.

Very pleasant surprise a rose amongst the thorns. Called in without a booking and was found a table the staff and food were well above average. Would be glad to highly recommend. ..

Cannot recommend the Stan Laurel highly enough. The staff are attentive, well organised and the food is incredible. We attended as a group of 10 and the service was very quick too.
