Great unless you actually want to reserve an appointment. I'm working away from home, called with one day in mind, provided a weeks notice and offered to take ANY time during that day and couldn't be accommodated. Yes I can call at 8am but I need to manage my time around my own calendar (in order to keep paying my NI). Why not take a Saturday you ask? Well I'd need to wait three weeks for one of them....

The beat surgery in Worthing. Friendly receptionists. Dr's all very professional and understanding as well as informative. Despite being overwhelmed with patients due yl other surgeries closing they always find an option. You may not get an appointment straight away but a doctor or practitioner will always do a call back the same day and if needed at this stage will get you an appointment.

I am very pleased that I have access to such a highly success surgery. The Drs are always very helpful and bestow in me trustfulness in their advice. Nurses and staff are always helpful.

Moved house, 2 minutes down the road from original house and was told by St Lawrence receptionist that if i change my address on the system that I would still be able to go there. Only to receive a letter 2 weeks later saying that I am no longer allowed to attend the surgery. Rang the reception and queried this following my previous conversation and they just said 'sorry you must have been given the wrong information'. I have been with the surgery for 18 years and must of had a hand full of appointments, no harm to them to keep just myself on their books. I should of just kept my address as the old one..... but that would be fraudulent. Nice to see I am appreciated. This information is located on the NHS website. Outer practice boundaries In 2012, all GP practices were asked to agree an outer practice boundary. Outer practice boundaries are an expansion of a GP's original catchment area. Whereas in the past you may have had to register with a new GP even after only moving a few streets away, these outer boundaries can be a way to stay registered with your old GP. Patient choice of GP practices Since January 5 2015, all GP practices in England have been free to register new patients who live outside their practice boundary area. This means you can register with a GP practice somewhere that's more convenient for you, such as a practice near your work or closer to your children’s schools. This will give you greater choice and aims to improve the quality of access to GP services.
