Exceptional breakfast, brilliant location and friendly staff. We had a few problems which to be fair we did not report until check out and the service offered to us then was excellent. The room was good but on the small side. Overall good value for money and I would return

My husband and I spent a few days here for our 30 wedding anniversary. The team are so friendly and knowledgeable of the area, which made planning days out perfect. The room was very clean. Breakfast was amazing. So good we've planned to stay again in August. Highly recommended.

Great little B&B, lovely rooms, great staff that really look after you - local advice, recommendations and more importantly, friendly. Fantastic breakfast options. Ideally located between Windermere and Bowness. Loved our stay.

The staff at St John's are second to none. Nothing is too much for them. The breakfast menu is three pages and no extra cost for any dishes. The rooms are perfect and extremely comfy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the lodge to anybody.

Excellent location. Superb place to stay. Vegan friendly but also cater for everyone. Lovely staff and beautiful rooms Food fantastic. What a great hotel to stay in. Booked for our second visit too
