Lovely stay, room spotlessly clean, very close to all amenities. Management so friendly ans helpful. Would have been nice to have cooked breakfast, but unable due to current situation continental breakfast with hot croissants delivered to room each morning superb. Great location. Very clean, comfortable accommodation. Lovely cooked full english breakfast, using quality products. Tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Friendly staff and owner.

What can I say about this place. Fantastic place to stay, close to everything on offer including being a stone throw from the lake. Very friendly and accommodating staff, if you have a special occasion then they will go out their way to help you. Great breakfast in the morning. The only word to describe the bed is like sleeping on a 'cloud'. Would definitely recommend staying here, we will definitely be staying here again in the future. Thanks again for everything

Stayed here recently for a family wedding in Bowness. The old courthouse was very comfortable and clean. Lovely friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast was served up in the morning. Parking for 3-4 cars although a little tight. The staff also provided a local authority street parking  permit to other family members who also stayed at the premises. Well worth a visit and will definitely stay here again in the future.

Nice staff, great location. Really love that our bathroom was an old jail cell with the original door! Lovely breakfast. Free off road parking. And it was nice and quiet. Only downside is shower wasn't powerful, but it was all fit for purpose.

Great stay. Interesting historic building Very comfortable room - spotless and every need catered for. Most sincere welcome and breakfast was amazing! Set us up for the day! We will definately return.

Stayed here for one night 22/10/18 can honestly say fantastic welcome and nothing to much trouble, the location the room  guest house and breakfast superb. I will definately recommend to family and friends and will be booking again soon, this guest house is one of the best in Bowness on Windermere.

Lovely clean cosy and comfortable! Breakfast superb. Car park a little on the small size and awkward to manoeuvre in. Lovely welcome on arrival. Very close to all amenities. Bowness is a beautiful place, it's a must go to place!

My partner and I had a great time in Bowness, made even more special by our stay in The Old Courthouse. The host, Sue, was very friendly and welcoming on our arrival and throughout the time we spent at T.O.C. The room was spacious, clean, well kept and the bed was comfy with a SMART TV to watch Netflix on while we waited for breakfast to be served. I would highly recommend this B&B and we'll hopefully return in the future very soon. P.S Sue's dog Jess is the most affectionate and loveable animal you will come across. You'll fall in love at first sight!
