I stayed in this hotel last week for two nights, it was not clean at all and the room cleaning service lacked credibility, the next day she came to clean the room but she did nothing but sweep the carpet and make the bed and she was putt the clothes under the bed pillow !!nAs for the bathroom she just closed the toilet without cleaned, and she did not wash or clean the sink,, as well as the first night the sink was blocked , and she did not putt toilet paper, also she did not putt tea or coffee in the coffee corner.nThey took a £50 deposit from me and I could not get it back until I spoke to the bank and they did not respond to the emails.nthey lack many things first of all customer service and cleanlinessnYou can see the photos I attached for the room and bathroom.nThe room smells was dampnI will never come to this hotel next time.
I have to say I was a bit worried when reading some of the negative reviews before visiting. However, our stay was excellent.nnA huge thank you to Lynn from the hotel who took my booking over the phone and was ever so kind and helpful when we had to rebook due to a derailed freight train in May.nJuly brought rail strikes and I honestly thought this trip wasn’t meant to happen but we got there.nnMy two boys loved it. I loved the view of the lake from the seating area outside and how close it is to the lake and shops. Yes, there are areas where it could do with some work like paint peeling off but it didn’t bother me. We were out all day and just needed a bed for the night.nnAt breakfast, staff were excellent. I think it may have been the manager who showed us to our table, I didn’t get his name but thank you for making our stay so great. All the staff were courteous and it made out stay so wonderful. Thank you to you all!
We stayed here for my Birthday on a wet day in August. Check in was 3, but we went at 2.00pm and the lady on reception checked if our room was ready and it was.nThe room was clean and tidy, but not without little issues. One of the blinds was not working properly and there was water damage in the bathroom ceiling and mould, or stains.nThe breakfast was lovely, but missing bits that was advertised. We still enjoyed it.nMy main gripe is paying to park. It’s not something I ever do, but my Mrs booked the hotel. I really find it out of order paying £150+ for a room and extra for parking.nI wouldn’t stop again because of the parking charge.
On arrival greeted by Rochelle and Sophie who were so friendly and helpful. Went over and above with their customer service thank you. Breakfast was delicious. Good size room. Beds very comfortable.
Beautiful room and views - great location for Post Knott and Brant Fell we couldn’t be happier with our stay!nnBooked via here for a 30th Birthday Night Away and they upgraded our room to a balcony view which was just amazing! Also they offer a birthday package which was a lovely surprise for my boyfriend on arrival!nnA bit dated in places and could do with updating to match the modern restaurant and lobby but a beautiful location! We will be back soon!
