The owner went above and beyond upon our arrival at 2AM 9th Feb.. Leaving a key outside in a safe Place, for us to not locate (right under our nose) and then for him to let us in. Fantastic customer service and care and what a top Gent he was too. Breakfast was stunning with locally sourced ingredients, bedroom clean to biggest standards... extremely well presented and looked after. My Missus was particularly impressed with the quality of her nights sleep she had due to the "lush" pillows and matters. I myself have to agree! Overall, a beautiful, quaint but modern, sophisticated hotel with wonderful, caring staff. We will be returning soon and wish to have the same room number 2. The price was also very reasonable for the quality provided, and the location being so close to Windermere. Thankyou!

Excellent b&b. Highly recommend staying here. Breakfast is 5 star, rooms are all decent. Owners are friendly. We always go back.

Very hospitable and helpful, rooms are very homely with large shower. Few minutes walk away from amenities.

House was lovely and comfortable and the owners were fantastic, very friendly and attentive with helpful advice about local places to visit and places to eat and drink. The only downside for us was the noise from other guests due to the thin walls and also a rattling window through the night due to the wind.
