Really a hidden gem of the Glasgow parks. Lots of wide open spaces for dogs to play and families to have picnics. The pond and boating lake are well established with plenty of bird life. Playground: Good sized area for the kids to play. Restrooms: We had to make use of the facilities at the football club. Dog-friendliness: A very dog friendly park with plenty of people being walked by their dogs.
A quite large park with lots of trees and greeneries, there are playgrounds for kids, basketball yard, and soccer field, cycling and walking are also nice to be done here.
Fairly large park. Doesn't tend to be busy even during nice weather and there are dedicated play areas for kids so the rest of the park is pretty peaceful. The park boasts an excellent Spring flower display March through May, which is wonderful if you are a fan of daffodils! The park is also home to a handful of wild birds, including ducks, a family of swans and a grumpy heron who I have seen most visits through Spring and Summer.
Once a magnificent green space , unfortunately somewhat neglected now .
It’s a great place but not maintained properly. A good big ground if the grass cuts regularly it would be great. Bowling’s grounds are pretty good but not maintained. Generally it’s a great location and a good history.
The park is a bit neglected but we are lucky to have a green space to walk in. They are cutting the grass just now and tidying it up. If everyone just took their rubbish home or put it in a bin it would make a difference.
It's an enormous park, full of nature surroundings. Lake of ducks and swans. Pitches for sports.A wee play area for kids. Good for cycling and dog walk.
Surprisingly great park for a good walk or wirh the dog. There is 3 ponds in the park with loads of wildlife. Great for the kids if they want to feed the ducks. There is an abandoned building in the park that the used to be the largest glasshouse in scatland. Also there is a few sculptures and monuments about the part too.
This is a good park right in the heart of North Glasgow. There is lots of open space. There is an 18 hole frisbee golf course. The pond towards the centre has a great deal of birdlife including nesting swans. A good play area is now looking tired with much of the apparatus either vandalised or removed, and litter is a big issue. The old greenhouse is very cool.
Visit this park to celebrate my nephew birthday anniversary’s in the memorial garden it’s beautiful place for family’s to remember there loved ones let balloons just get together share stories whatever you feel it’s peaceful
