Ate here last week. The decor is basic, but the food we had was great and at a great price. We had the meat thali, plus a veg side dish and shared it between the two of us and there was plenty. I never order lamb in an Indian restaurant because it's often tough, but what we had here was lovely and tender. As already stated there is no alcohol served here, but we didn't miss it.
Ordered many a takeaway and have never been disappointed. There's definitely a sense of passion with their cooking and not just another average curry restaurant churning out substantial oily curry's. Good value for the quality.Food: 5/5
This is the worst Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. Disgusting quality chicken it was so hard it bounced off the floor after I spat it out. The owner is very rude and unprofessional and claims no one ever complains lol. Please don’t waste your money on this place. Worst food I’ve ever tasted
We’ve just had an awful meal from this restaurant. We were so upset as we were hungry! We orders chicken korma and chicken curry. On opening the boxes straight away the dishes didn’t look right. The pieces of chicken were so large and tough as old boots, we struggled to even cut the chicken with a knife. We also ordered Sag aloo, how disappointed we were. The whole dish was watery! So disappointed with this meal. We will never order from them again. It all went in the bin!
Ģreat food, well cooked, tasty and prompt. Amazing value. We checked the reviews before we ordered and there were a couple of negative ones but we went with the majority which were positive and thought it was brilliant. Generous portions as well.
I got myself a too good to go rescue bag - Late evening meat. It had 3 items. Pilao rice, chicken gravy, aloo Palak. The portions were small enough for a 10 year old kid. Majority of the items were vegetarian although it said meat take away. The rice was nothing but undercooked dry, tasteless coloured rice with no hint of spice or salt whatsoever. Chicken gravy had small 3-4 pieces of boneless chicken pieces which were tough and chewy, gravy was average. Aloo was below average. After eating from this place I needed to be rescued more than the rescue bag itself. Worst experience and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Got a package from Too good to go. Food was very delicious, only rice was a bit dry
We had fantastic dinner here yesterday. It’s a very low key place and most of the orders seem to be takeaway but the menu had plenty of choices and service was great. Prices were excellent too, portions good and the food really flavoursome.
I ordered one of the Too Good to Go magic boxes and it was great! There were two curries, rice and poppadums - more than enough food for one person. They had it ready for me to take away immediately, and the food was tasty and filling.
The worst 'Indian' food I've had in my entire life! This is basically a Bangladeshi restaurant with an Indian branding. There's nothing Indian about it apart from the name. I ordered a butter chicken gravy. The best description of what we got would be: leftover boneless tandoori chicken pieces in sugar sauce and a more than generous dose of oil. One word description: nauseating! I also got egg fried rice. To be honest, this was decent. And since the other items were so shockingly bad, this made the fried rice seem better than it was. Then there was the pilau basmati rice, which was neither basmati nor pilau. Was just a mix of dry white rice and colour rice. No salt, no spice, nothing! Unbelievable how someone would even eat that! In short, this place is a mockery of the famed Indian cuisine.
