Soundbase Megastore

Placed order for equipment I needed for a gig on a friday and ordered it on the monday with 24 hour delivery. Friday comes and no item. Had to phone to be told it would not be with me and they had to order from supplier. Why advertise something for sale with 24 hour delivery when you have not got one in stock. If I had known prior to ordering, I would have gone elsewhere as I needed the equipment. Now they have left me in the sh**.

Absolutely fantastic staff could not be more helpful. After only ever used vinyl and went in to look at getting CDjs. Spoke to Ste who put me 2 great packages together a high tier and lower tier. They are being purchased for a school DJ club the students will be so excited.

I spent over £200 on sound equipment on the proviso the equipment would be delivered the next day as advised online and in store. Having chased the delivery the next day i was advised it would arrive on the next working day. 1 week on I am still waiting on my delivery, with no call from the store to advise on the delay. Having called the store again to check on the delivery status I was advised that the items purchased are arriving to their store today but they were not able to deliver to me. Very poor customer service, will not be using them again.

Spoke to somebody really helpful at the shop regarding repairing what I thought was a fault on a pair of cdj's I'd just bought off ebay. Advised me I could take them direct to their Trafford Park unit where they do the repairs. I really nice guy called Andrew there took a look after I explained that I thought they may be a bit rough and need fixing. He hooked them up and gave them a good going over and then just looked at me puzzled. He advised in not so many words I would be wasting my money but understood that I was just getting jumpy because I'd spent a large sum of money on something second hand. He couldn't have been more helpful. Not many places out there would do that nowadays. Can't rate them enough. Don't do reviews usually but had to with these lot. Really helpful and trustworthy.

I was charged full price for a cdj "repair", even though it was returned after 2 MONTHS to me in the following condition: the two originally broken buttons were missing, the power pack was also missing it was lost at the warehouse and on top of all that, the cdj didn't turn on. Basically i payed £48 for them to break my cdj.

Just spoke to this chap called Tom and he was excellent , really polite and very helpful . I have never been to this store but would just because of this phone chat ! Thanks Tom , Pioneer DDJ SR . Regards Mr Anderson.

Was helpful at first helped my find a price for some unwanted DJ equipment asked me to bring the equipment form Sheffield got half way there for them to tell me they'd realised they had no money in the shop so to go home and come back tomorrow so I did this and the next day I arrived in Manchester at 17:10 the shop closes at 18:00 the sat nav said 16 mins so I rang them and explained the response was "we've got stuff to do and we'll leave at bang on 6" 2 wasted trips and 6 hourse travelling and half a tank of fuel for nothing

ordered a tascam pro32 left deposit, two weeks later still waiting , got deposit back and went to birming ham on train, got it cheaper and covered train tickets yipeeee!!! thanks soundbase

Great place, good gear and happy to let you play about and try stuff. Good advice too. A bit off the beaten track but worth finding.

Terrible, customer service. Receive product faulty and no rma after a few days. Constant emails no help.
