It’s been many years since I visited Piccadilly Records, but as always, it doesn’t disappoint. A wide range of vinyl covering all styles. Some great and obscure items lurking in the selections on offer. I just wish I had more time to browse this visit. Will definitely return and set aside some time next time . Great place.
Decent selection of records not as extensive as vinyl exchange but still better than I’ve seen in other cities. Very clean and well organized. The staff was friendly and all the music was well labeled and protected. Would recommend you hop in.
Popular independent record shop! Selling more up-to-date music on vinyl and CDs. All are sealed for protection. Reasonably priced. Relatively small space, very well-organised by genre and main artists. Easy to browse through. Usually a quiet place with a good playlist on. Great service, kind and knowledgeable staff. Have ordered numerous times to be delivered here in the U.S. and have never had an issue - records are packed securely and have always arrived incredibly quickly! Highly recommended if you’re wanting the latest Dinked vinyl or any U.K.exclusives
i went to piccadilly records for the boygenius album party and was blown away by how incredibly lovely the staff were. i called ahead to discuss accessible options as i wasn’t sure whether it would be standing only, and had a lovely chat with a member of staff. by the time i arrived to the shop for the listening party, i was warmly greeted and was given a chair and reassurance that if i needed anything else they would be happy to help me out. as someone who is not visibly disabled, being able to get the accommodation i needed to have a good time without any questions asked was such a pleasant surprise. music wise, they have always had an impressive range of available vinyl and CDs and i have nearly always been able to find what i was looking for. i could not rate this place higher!
A fantastically knowledgeable staff who are passionate about music. Picadilly Records stocks lots of current and obscure tunes.
Superb selection of music and write-ups for albums on all stock, sort of like an expensive bandcamp where you get to HOLD the music in your hands. It's revolutionary. Also, the friendly lady at the register gave me a Piccadilly Records mug.
Brilliant record shop, my joint favourite in the country with Resident Records in Brighton. Great range of vinyl, friendly and knowledgable staff and they let my dog in too. They had most of what was on my shopping list that day and I can't wait to go back next time I'm in Manchester.
Best record shop in the UK. Great staff and their recommendations are spot on.
