A little quirky & cute cinema with difference. Everyman was offering free mini movies over the summer holidays so we went to give it a try. From the moment you walk through the doors is not like your average cinema. The decor is quirky & classy. The staff are welcoming and attentive, the kids all got a bag of popcorn & a drink each and I got a coffee that was in a proper coffee cup and brought into me. All for free!! The seat are sofas and are nice and comfortable too. It was a great opportunity to sample the cinema. Which we loved and will definitely be returning to watch a full film. A few niggling: No onside parking, there is an NCP close by and street parking but both can be a little pricey. Cinema tickets are a little more than your average cinema prices at £17.10 for adults & £12.05 but it’s a nice change from the average cinema & they serve food whilst watching the show too
Everyman in Manchester offers a cool 60s vibe that immediately sets the mood for an enjoyable cinema experience. The venue's excellent mood lighting enhances the atmosphere, making it a memorable place to watch a film. The service is top-notch, adding to the overall positive experience. I ordered a chocolate milkshake, which was delicious but came in a small glass and was significantly overpriced at £6.20. While I would definitely return to watch a film, I would probably skip buying drinks or snacks due to their high prices.
If you’re after a completely new cinema experience then I would definitely recommend Everyman. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, adding to the experience. The seating is really comfy and the spaces between you and the people in front of great. Little close to your neighbours at the side but nothing you can’t cope with. In my opinion the food didn’t live up to expectations and if we came again we’d bypass eating. The bun on my burger was stale and the special buffalo chips were just fries with hot sauce and mayo, nothing to write home about. The popcorn was soft and barely sweet. Which is a shame because the whole place is lovely. So clean and the ambience is just right. So overall great experience but subpar food.
An amazing new way of going to the cinema. Friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere, seats and great food brought to your seat before the film starts. My only gripe was that there was no air con but we did go on a really warm evening. Will definitely be back
Came to see The Shining 31st October, great experience. We were greeted at the bar, shown to our seats and given menus. The order was taken and brought to our seats quickly before the film started. Our drinks and food were great, the film was brilliant. The staff were attentive and efficient. The cinema was warm, clean an enjoyable experience all round, thanks
Quirky high end cinema & bar. Located on Quay Street not far from many of the most iconic Manchester restaurants and very close to Deansgate. The entrance is really understated, you walk along a corridor that is an art gallery into the cinema entrance where you greeted by a quirky welcoming bar and you immediately see the attention to detail in the decor. There are three screens and I arrived deliberately 10 minutes early before the showing in order to be able to order food and drinks which are then delivered to your seats in the cinema Services fast and very efficient I had no complaints with the food and I am a fussy eater Two of us got a little bit carried away and managed to rack up a £75 bill Comprising three starters, two main cocktail each and soft drinks which lasted us the full movie Scream is lovely there was plenty of soft seating and I didn’t feel like anybody was too close The whole vibe of this cinema makes it perfect a date night where you sit on a comfy sofa like you’re at home watching a movie I will definitely go back here again
Received a very warm welcome from Milly who looked after us and explained how things worked, table service etc. It’s really lovely and very comfy, but, you’re very close to the person next to you. We were there on a quiet day and the staff allowed us to move so we had more space. The food was good but I’d have been happier if we had bigger tables rather than a tray on my knee. I’d definitely go again, but would maybe get snacks rather than a meal.
Everyman in Manchester creates a cool chilled setting that immediately sets the mood for an enjoyable cinema experience. The venue's excellent seating and lighting area makes for a relaxing environment. The service is top-notch although as you try to relax the waiters are coming past every 2 seconds, people ordering hot food is slightly off-putting smelling burgers sausages etc isn't ideal. The drinks are really overpriced and you can only have a small drink which I think takes away somewhat from that cinema experience.
Service was amazing! The staff is very kind and polite. The food was amazing, the seats are very comfy and the quality of the film is incredible. I'll definitely come back, it was such a nice treat and experience. And the toilets were nice and clear.
We hired screen 1 for an all company update with 100+ attendees from 2pm to 7pm and I have to commend Dan and the amazing team at the Everyman St John's. They were an absolute dream to work with and I cannot praise them highly enough, not one person I spoke to, and I believe I spoke to every single one of the team, was anything but great. They are consummately professional, whilst being constantly pleasant and friendly. Every request was met with a smile and a brilliant can-do attitude. Their attention to detail is also impeccable. The food was great and thoroughly enjoyed too. I highly recommend them and the venue to anyone who needs to hold an event in such a fantastic place as the Everyman with such a perfect team!
