The best selection of films in Manchester, really friendly staff and there's always cool music playing! Also an underrated place to look for cheap books, especially if you're into sci-fi.
Great collection of 4k UHD discs, probably better than HMV in that kip Arndale. They should do more sale n stuff, easier and cheaper to buy stuff off of music magpie on ebay now.
Honestly my favourite record shop in manchester. Great atmosphere and has some lovely staff and an amazing selection. Always take a look around if i’m nearby.

I came here for the movies only which has to be the best place to get movies because there's a better choice here than in the local HMV this is basically a HMV Decent prices.
Popped in to FOPP today to exchange a record, and the chap serving me couldn't have been more helpful - a real credit to the team!! Unfortunately I didn't catch his name, but thank you to the kind man who searched to find me a replacement Maggie Rogers pink vinyl!!! Great selection of records in store.
Looking for Christmas gift for a couple of music obsessed friends. Huge choice, mostly reasonably priced and some rare / odd items. Spent more time there than planned, well worth a visit. Expect to spend more than planned and leave happy
Nice to still see a Fopp going after being sad to see the Edinburgh one gone on my last visit. It's an extensive vinyl stock and pretty good prices.
Great range of entertainment related products including CDs, LPs, DVD, Blu-ray, Cassettes etc. Helpful staff. Great price on paperback books.
Dropped in as part of some Christmas shopping in Manchester. It's part of the HMV group but has it's own pricing structure and the stock is more focused on film and music. The member of staff we chatted with was not only friendly and informative about the place but also enthusiastic. A rare thing indeed, in these cynical times! Give it a try, if you're nearby. P.S. Yes, I made purchases.
