I bought 1 month ago an Hp printer with 9month free ink. When asked from Currys. I explained that I need a code to get this 9month free ink service. I told them Hp already reverted me to speak to Curry’s. There manager told me we cannot help you we only sell Hp product. I explained many times that Hp already told me that Curry’s will help you. However they refuse to help and walked away even I was one of the very few customer in the shop. I am extremely disappointed and shocked with staff behaviour where they decide to act based on there own personal choice rather look up to the corporate responsibility and in the interest of the company. Though I found in some other Curry’s shop much better experience. I could have the same deal from Argos but give preference to Curry’s for its big name. However, staff behaviour matters a lot. DO NOT recommend to buy from this particular store. Even though I had full insurance where they say whatever happens. This Curry’s shop staff simply violated there own policy.
Ah yes, this branch. It will always remind me of a core memory. Something was happening at Manchester Fort Shopping Park, so I asked the supervisor who was looking there if he knew what was happening in case it was something serious and we had to go home for safety reasons. He replied, "None of my business." Okay, fair enough, but as I started walking into the store, I immediately heard him talking to his colleagues, "Can you see what's happening there? Whoa!" That pretty much sums up the place. I miss brick and mortar Comet stores...
This venue is like a Bazaar. Went to buy a Mac book pro and while I was looking for some help I noticed everyone having a casual chat and not paying attention to the customer. I finally approached a guy and asked him if he could help me and reply to me he wasn't from the sales team. I then asked him if he could please go and "fetch" someone that could help me and he replied to me that I was rude using that word as it's used for dogs. I told him that this wasn't the case and the Cambridge dictionary would disagree with him but he went on all the same giving me an example: what do say to the dog when you throw the ball? Fetch, I reply. But then I added, go, get it, bring it. You get the jist, right? I still apologised to him as I didn't want any argument, especially if people don't have sound reasons for arguments it's always better to avoid one. He then shout his colleague name to come and help me at which point everyone around us turned to see why was someone shouting. Who's the rude now, Ah? This shop branch seriously need customer service training.
Bought a gaming monitor in store for next day delivery asked for a receipt and was told it will come to my email witch I never received rand up the helpline and they told me it was Store problem and that my order does not exist so go back to the store and got no help whatsoever the manager told me there was nothing he can do because it’s a weekend where as he was more concerned about just standing around with his matés absolute joke no help what do ever £150 down now and my order doesn’t exist fort a company as big as curry’s I expected better
Wish they would leave us alone to look! Soon as we walk in descended on by multiple staff! Curry's have high delivery charge £45! Cheaper elsewhere with free delivery! So worth checking if what you want needs to be delivered.
No one here wants to sell anything. I walked in to get a TV. The guy I spoke to simply turned the model on and walked away from me. The 3 employees I flagged down after said they don't cover TVs and it's not their job when I said I was interested in buying. The store was not even busy. Completely empty. Go to John Lewis instead.
Sometimes getting staff to help or advise can be difficult. I also had to travel 10 miles to Manchester to pick up the item I wanted. I can't believe a company like this won't do inter branch transfers of stock so I could pick up in Bolton
Only few staff are willing to help you. Most of the staff they need serious training for customers services. I came yesterday to buy a washing machine and search for a staff who can help , every one is skipping when a customer is need help.!! At last I have got a female staff. Not informative and I left with a decision not to buy it.Today I came again and met a staff named Huma.. I can say she helped me to explain each and everything with a smiley face. Staff with good knowledge about the product.I bought the washing machine today just because of a good staff who can help a customer to buy the appropriate product.I am just giving you 5star just cz of this particular staff. I can recommend people come and ask for her she can really help you. Thanks
Great shopping experience Sometimes good deals on offer Alot of the time you have to order They do not hold much stock in store
Went to buy a laptop but 0 staff available to help out. Went looking for someone and they were all huddled together having a casual chat away from customers. Even after asking they were mostly uninterested. At a time when online is taking over you'd think they would be more forthcoming in providing at least a normal sales service but obviously not! Will buy online instead.
