Lots of kit at very good prices, the odd dvd catches you out, Department S complete £28! however if you need an old classic check here first most are £1. Games machines everywhere at every price so you have a chance of your dream machine at a reasonable price. Check online they deliver and give you the price for buying selling or taking vouchers instead of cash. This could save you more money on your next purchase. Have a look around your cupboards it might be worth cash and some space!
Shocking customer service!! Took in an old PS4 with all sorts of accessories with it to be told the seal on the back on the console had been tampered with so they can’t take it, yet it’s hardly ever been used. Plus they didn’t even pass my powerlead back for the console dirty staff members!! Absolutely shocking service! If you’re thinking of selling your stuff don’t go to this store as they’ll try mug you off or rob your gear!!
Dropped a device without any issue then they called to say they could not buy because of a glitch on screen. I said weird as this was not an issue and ok got my gadget back. But when I turned on to see, it was with a horrible glitch. I can’t say they did it but I’m 100% sure always used it and never had this problem. Tbh I believe some accident may have happened this in there but at the end of story I have a device which thankfully not going to use but is useless anyway. For sure not going to sell anything with this store.
Had a good experience recently after buying g a faulty RAM module so happy to call and check out regularly changing stuff. Faulty RAM was changed under warranty.
Visited the Entertainment Exchange CEX store in the Arndale Centre in Manchester today Wednesday 30th March and was absolutely disgusted with the whole experience. I wanted to purchase some goods so waited in what I thought was the queue. After a while I noticed customers being served before me and realised I was standing at the side where you bring items in to sell. I then moved across to a different queue and waited again. When it was my turn I was called to the till to purchase the goods only to be told that I had to wait again as another customer was selling something and they had priority over me. Why is this? I am a customer like anybody else and surely CeX want people to buy goods as if not then surely they will not have a business? As you can imagine I was disgusted with this and left the goods at the till and walked out. I shall not visit another CeX shop ever again. Dave
Find almost every phone on the market right now in decent condition and decent price ... yes, I would recommend
Great deal for electronic gadgets. Sell off, swap deals, purchase also available for mobile phones, game consoles, xbox, etc
great selection, customer service wasnt great, treated like a criminal, for example the guy had the firmest grip on the card reader and held it so close to him making it weird when i tried to bring it slightly closer so i could enter my pin and intensely stared me down as i payed. just an uncomfortable service all around
Very poor customer assistance. My experience was dreadful. I bought a laptop un Sunday and returned the day after cause it wasn’t right for me. I asked my boyfriend to bring it back cause I was at work. After a week I came back and asked if the product had been tested and I could get my refund. I was told that since my boyfriend brought it back he was the one that had to come to claim the refund. Fair enough. I left and some days after my boyfriend went back, and he was given HALF OF THE MONEY, like if we had sold the laptop to them instead of getting a full refund. I went back to ask the reason and with very poor manners I was told that since my boyfriend brought it back, and he was not the original purchaser, the transaction was handled as a sale. The purchaser must bring the item back, and absolutely NO ONE told us this rule. I also wonder why if it’s such an important rule, no one checked if the purchase was on his account when he went there asking for a refund. And why no one specifically told me YOU are the purchaser and YOU must bring it back, otherwise you won’t get a refund. I highly suggest to buy your stuff somewhere else, cause that’s almost a fraud in my opinion. Never.again.! - The item was returned the day after the purchase, as requested by the 48 hour allowance offered by the shop
Absolutely incompetent, I don't normally leave reviews but this experience screams lack of knowledge. I was quoted a voucher price for some headphones, upon speaking to an employee at the store I was incorrectly informed that my headphones were not with the supplied accessories, namely a aux cable with a mic built in & he couldn't acceptable the headphones haha!! Anyway my contention is as follows, the Bose quietcomfort qc35 ii have inbuilt mics, thus negating the need to have an aux cable with a mic. Kind of defeats the object really doesn't it?!! Laughable at best, with all due respect please Train your staff appropriately,it would seem at least one of them has shown incompetency at the most basic level, thanks. In all eventuality I sold them on eBay for £30 more.
