The movie experiences are excellent. But the stall experiences are awful. The size of nachos trays and the amount of nachos put in it for the price charged is ridiculous. The popcorn is left in an open container and 8 out of 10 times it was soft and stale. The salt popcorn..the amount of salt in it... burns your lips at just half way through the box. The staff at the desk work like snails...even snails are faster I think. Gosh..this place could be so much better.

Overall decent. Some of the seats in the smaller theatres are a bit shabby and the speed of the food & drink servers is SLOOOOW, but generally it's a decent cinema to attend. I don't recommend using the automated tickets machines for anything other than collection though. Mine aborted the ticket purchase halfway through and the manager refused to believe payment had been taken. Had to buy them again and request a refund weeks later. Guilty until proven innocent! UPDATE: Attended Avengers Infinity War weekend on a Sunday. Horrific queues for food. All counters more or less manned, but the sheer lack of urgency or speed by the serving staff meant that each of the queues was minimum 10 deep. This place really needs to put some resource planning and staff training into place. Couldn't get any food or drink on the day despite arriving 45 mins early.

Decent cinema nothing to fancy. Plenty of screens & £4.99 online ticket deal atm which is a great saving. Consumables way to pricey as with most cinemas. Ample parking as venue is sited at Star City.

If you visit this cinema please make sure you go at least an hour before film starts. This is because of the food offered. The staff are very slow at getting orders..or there isnt enough staff. Service is extremely slow even if your the most patient of people. Not good if youve got young children. If your late getting into screen due to this, be prepared to get your torch out so you can find your seat which probably will have someone sat in it so politeness is crucial. Seats are comfy, cup holder useful.

Cheap, comfy, lots of screens. The usual fare, Ben and Jerry's counter etc. Star City seems to be in decline but the cinema is still good. £5 deals for tickets.
