Gets worse on every visit. The recliner screens are great but everything else is terrible. The carpets are filthy, as are the extremely uncomfortable standard screen seats. The picture and sound quality is extremely inconsistent and the entire place is really starting to smell. The toilets are especially bad. To top it all off, the prices are extremely poor. You will be paying upwards of 15 quid on average for a single ticket, regardless of if it’s a recliner seat or not. If you don’t have limitless, it’s just not worth it. Showcase Castlegate Dudley is so much better in almost every way and is almost always half the price.
My go to cinema, recliner chairs are very comfy. Only downside is the toilets doesn't matter if you go first thing when they open the doors or later in the day ladies toilets are always out of toilet paper you have to search them all just to find one. Please look at cleaning and restocking the toilets regularly as this is really letting the place down, I know people that won't go to this site due to toilets which is a shame as the screens and seats are good.
Staff/Service was nice, all the things you might want or need in terms of food and snacks. The general set up of this cinema is just poor though. Its had an update since I last went many moons ago, so the seats recline and you have a lot space. However the seats are still all on one level which makes no sense and it was dirty. My little table was sticky, I had to wipe it down myself and there were wrappers everywhere.
Staff are lovely but the building and facilities desperately need a good clean and an upgrade. Toilets are terrible.nWe always choose the recliner seats but a couple of the screens are much smaller and the sound was poor. It seems like it needs to be turned up but also has less surround sound than my phone. Always cold in there too.
We booked the film and our seats beforehand and ordered our popcorn. When we arrived our tickets were scanned and we waited briefly for our popcorn. The cinema was clean and well laid out.nOur screen was relatively small but the leather recliner seats with large arm rests and individual tables made the experience special and very comfortable. Sound quality and volume was good.nThe only negative was the toilets not being as clean as I would have liked and a lack of toilet paper.
