Very disappointing practice. Staff are as clued up to simple things as a chocolate fireguard is useful. The doctors are rude and belittling. Best thing about here was walking out

From Friday till Wednesday i have been chasing up a form which only needed a quick signiture from my GP. On the tuesday alone i was on the phone numarus times still chasing the form to be sighned.Still after over six hours there was nothing. So another is going to be spent going through the same. Also i needed an urgent perscription to be faxed to the pharmacy. Again, six hours later still no perscription for important crucial medication. so back on the phone tommorw. i suffer with servere anxiety so this added stress was un nessasary and could have been avoided. My perscription is for anxiety tablets. ironicly.

Rude reception..gossip in front of patients about patients! Different doctor every single appointment. The doctor I saw actually looked on YouTube in front of me to see how to treat my issue?? Really??

My Aunty who is 83 years of age had a stroke a couple of days ago. My Uncle who is also elderly wasn't sure what was happening and therefore took her to see her GP. The GP then told them to go to A & E. My Uncle went home, called a taxi and went to A & E at the Northern General Hospital. They arrived at 11.00. at 3.30 they were told that they would have to go to The Royal Hallamshire by ambulance. 6 hours later and after I threatened to take her myself they managed to get an ambulance. She was then seen at 11.00pm. I have just looked on the NHS web site and it clearly states that if you suspect a stoke ring 999. WHY DID THE DOCTOR NOT DO THIS INSTEAD OF SENDING HER TO A & E! I don't think the doctor did her job right and I am disgusted with the way my Aunt was treated. Even I as a lay person (not a doctor) with all the advertising know that you call 999. This should have been done by the doctor. DISGRACEFUL
