I recently visited Builders Warehouse and had the pleasure of being assisted by Rakesh. The customer service was exceptional! Rakesh was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and went above and beyond to ensure I found everything I needed. It's rare to encounter such dedicated service, and it made my shopping experience truly enjoyable. I'll definitely be returning. Thanks, Rakesh!
This is their worst branch ever. The officials there are bad in dealing with their customers, and you have to tell them that you have a discount, and they usually raise the prices and tell you that we made a discount for you on the materials. I have a trid account there, and the service is very slow. I do not recommend them at all. Bad experience over 5 years With them I would need to close my account with them as well
I visited your Wimbledon branch just now. i was accused of lying by a staff member Gabi and a short, breaded man who claimed to be called Douglas wasn't wearing a badge.nI wanted a piece of wood at 2m length. i believed i had to find what i wanted and then cut it to my size using the saw left for customers to use.nnI walked around looking for the piece i wanted but luckly found one pre cut which was just over 2m which was still fine for me.nnwhen i got to the till to pay, Gabi asked me whether i had cut this one myself and i said no, i had found it pre cut. she said she needs to check the price for my piece as they normally only sell it as a long piece.nnshe was then called back of office by a man who claimed to be Douglas. Gabi retuned to the till and claimed she will be charging me full price for the wood piece as they saw me carrying a saw in CCTV so i must have cut it. I advised again i didnt cut this one and i just found it. Their tone started to get more and more accusative and condescending.nnI advised that i found this approach very disrespectful considering i have said 3 times that i didnt cut it yet they kept accusing me.I said they should find proof on CCTV before accusing a customer.nnI gave them another chance to satisfy their suspicions and advised that they should go to the isle the wood piece was found and look for the other piece to the wood i had allegedly cut.nnThey both went with me and failed to find the other piece and yet didnt apologies for accusing me of lying. i had my wife and daughters with me and felt humiliated. Is this normal at this place?
I WOULD HAVE TO AGREE WITH THE PREVIOUS REVIEWS ABOUT THE WANDSWORTH BRANCH.nnThe incompetency level at this store is at an all time high. Some of the staff don’t even know what they are doing. They are literally just there to get paid. They are lazy, they don’t know half the products they sell at their store, they are slow at responding and getting things done.nnI’ve made several orders with the store and every time I do I’m always shouting or arguing or complaining about something. I’ve not had one smooth transaction with this company. Apart from the second time when I made a purchase with Cyril.nnI’ve ordered items at the store and over the phone that have been damaged. And the store hasn’t removed it. There’s no quality checks made on the items before they send it out to you if you order on the phone or at the store.nnThe only helpful person that has taken the time to understand me is Cyril the rest of the team. Sorry to say are just useless. This will be my last interaction with this store I will be taking my business elsewhere. Has it doesn’t take 4 days to get a delivery of items or a collection of unwanted items.nnThis is not a small Selco neither and they can’t get things done quick enough. It’s a shame that the local store has so many difficulties and bad reviews.nnThe people whom have been dealing with my complaints and still nothing gets done unless I kick up a fuss isnnRay trade sales supervisor somewhat helpful to an extent but could be a bit more hands onnnRob transport Manager, somewhat helpfulnnJerome shopfloor Manager shouldn’t even be a manger he can’t manage his teamnnCyrille duty manager on the phone.nnVery helpful and has been the only reason why I’ve been back
