Absolutely beautiful building. It's definitely the place to go for all high-end shopping. The restaurants are all really great. We specifically went for afternoon tea and it didn't not disappoint. The food was excellent and the staff was lovely.
Harrods is so famous--and so beautiful, especially when it is all lit up at night.nnIt is lovely to walk through though most of the designer goods look a like all the designer goods I have seen in shops elsewhere.nnThey do have a fabulous take-away food section with freshly prepared food.nnWe stayed nearby and brought home some salmon, vegetable salads and they were all great.
Most branded luxurious iconic shopping mall. There are most famous fashion stores, restaurants, confectionery, chocolate section, luxurious perfume section and accessories section. On top of that there is a sales section of clothing. Everyone is really polite and expert on her/his duties. It's an unique experience and you have to definitely visit that place.
Busy with customers, but inside the store is beautiful, there are lots of signposts only in English directing you and telling you what is on each floor and the staff there are all super friendly and all smiling. The free samples in the food hall were a welcome treat! Being such a famous store, maybe some more signage for speakers of other languages would be beneficial, or QR codes on walls / elevators for customers to scan and they can have all their requirements and questions answered in their mother tongues. I love this store. The public facilities are always spotless and whilst the store is notably expensive, you certainly have quality!
You could actually spend a whole day in Harrods. It's an amazing building with beautiful architecture.nnThere are some actually some really good restaurants and eateries.nnAfternoon tea here is very fun.nnThe food hall is great and actually reasonably priced. You can get some really good 'too go' food here.nnAs an Englishman and someone who comes up to London regularly, this actually an area of London I have never really explored. It's a fascinating place to people watch!
