The best experience we have had at any optician. Excellent personalised service, care and love. We were hosted by Neil. Neil helped us trawl through many frames and with each one gave specific advice and insight. He did not rush us at all and had so much of patience. I will recommend this store to anyone anytime. If you’re looking for a personalized and consultative service then this is your place. I’ve always used the usual high street big name opticians and just happened to stumble into Seen due to curiosity. And boy what a great decision that was! Neil and the team are highly skilled, knowledgeable and will provide a bespoke service based on your individual needs. Forget your usual suspects when it comes to your eye health and go for Seen instead. I guarantee it will be the best decision you’ve made.
Had the most wonderful experience here purchasing a new pair of really unique sunnies. Ian helped me to find the perfect pair and was very patient with all of my questions and my deliberating purchasing. The whole practice had a very calm, sleek, down to earth feel to it but with some of the most incredible frames I've ever seen. Ian was a pleasure to talk to and a fountain of knowledge and humour. Couldn't be happier with my new specs! They're amazing! And a free vinyl record?!?! Would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for something a bit different.
I’ve been coming to seen for a few years after some pretty bad experiences at the mainstream opticians, Tariq and the team are so helpful and friendly as well as a willing to “do the right thing” That I’ll be coming back for the foreseeable future. Such a cool opticians to boot, with loads of colourful and unique frames. Nothing but good things to say, loving my new frames and the team have been great sorting out some teething issues I’ve had. Highly recommended.

After I came to the realisation that I could no longer manage without glasses I decided to invest in a quality pair. I had found some Jacques Marie Mage frames online that I liked but no opticians sold them locally . After some research I found Seen opticians in Manchester was the nearest place so I made an appointment and went with my father who also wears glasses. we spent quite a long time with Neil who was fantastic. We must have tried every pair in the shop before we decided on a pair each. We both went for JMM Frames with varifocal lenses and have to say they are great. I meet many people daily during the course of my work and get regular compliments on a daily basis about my glasses! Look no further than "Seen" They are the best of the best of the best!
Awesome experience at Seen, as ever. I’ve been a customer for about six years now but over the last few months they’ve gone above and beyond, supporting me before and after eye surgery. I’m now the proud owner of some lovely funky Theo frames - thanks to the whole team
From the initial consultation through to fitting to my first week with my new eyewear, doing business at Seen has been a pleasure. Neil went through several options before us settling on a beautiful clear acetate from Garrett Leight. My first ever pair of varifocals so was a little anxious on how I’d get used to them. I also wanted transitions and initially thought of green but Neil suggested a blue slight mirror. I have to say, he was bang on because I think they look mint. Plus, I can now read small print which is always a Brucie Bonus. Definitely be back in a year or so.

Hand-on-heart, the absolute best shopping experience I've ever had. What can I say? I first went to Seen because they're one of the few stores in Manchester that carry Garrett Leight. Neil spent at least 30 minutes with me trying countless frames and colours. He has a great eye for what suits you, and he will give it to your straight about what looks good and what does not. The turnaround time on the lenses was outstanding, even after the initial set were switched out for the thinner choice Neil – you were a lifesaver on this one! Walking out the store, I have the best fitting, best looking glasses I've had in my life. You get exactly what you pay for here: amazing glasses and amazing service. I'll be recommending them to all my friends and family and will surely come back for my next pair. Thanks to Neil and the team at Seen.
