I booked to have my lens replacement/ cataract surgery with them. And after paying my deposit the service was so bad and awful that I cancelled my operation. This is because I did not feel safe in their hands. They are not a professional company and seem to only care about the money. They gloss over the risks! My partner had the surgery less than a year ago and still has problems. I wish someone had wrote a review like mine I would have saved time and money. I then went to see a eye surgeon at the Manchester royal hospital and received all the facts about the surgery. Please don’t trust this company with your eyes!
My optometrist was Reshma. I would say I have a fear of going to the opticians but she was honestly so amazing, sweet and answered all of my questions and made me feel so comfortable. I would definitely recommend her to my family members and friends and return to this store. The health check was very thorough. Thank you
I had a sight test with an Optpmetrist called Sanaa. She was very thorough and explained all the tests and I will certainly ensure I return to see her again for my next review. All staff were very professional. This was my first visit to Optical Express and it won’t be last.
Sanaa tested my childrens eyes and did a very thorough test. She made it fun and engaging. Very swift service from entering to leaving the clinic. Will be bringing my family again thankyou to everhone who looked after us

Great service from the guys at Optical Express, I needed my glasses pads replacing as I couldn't wear them. Not only were they very polite but they replaced them for me free of charge! Thank you!
I broke my glasses, Haroon repaired them in five minutes. Lovely chap, pleasure to deal with. I will buy from there as a result of this excellent service!
I visited today for a routine eye test and new glasses and lenses. I was greeted by a lovely staff member who was very attentive. She was professional kind and I felt under no pressure to purchase anything extra. The optometrist was equally as lovely. Very knowledgable and thorough and had kind courteous manners. All round a very high class service and staff going the extra mile. Highly recommended
Just had my annual contact lens appointment. Reshma was really helpful and I felt I'd had a thorough sight and lens check. The whole team in the branch were extremely helpful including the gentleman who told me how to get some eye-drops out of the bottle I'd been given. I've been with Optical Express for many years and am happy to continue, even though it means an hours journey.
Lovely staff, all so helpful and very kind. Had an extremely pleasant experience. Would recommend!
