Wonderful place. Friendly people. Quiet village pubs. You will need to like dogs.

I would not recommend this place. Very very dirty caravans twice we have had a really really dirty inside the caravan full of dog hair. And when you go to complain. They say well you have a dog.... it was thick black hair from an German shepherd dog. And l told her l have a bright white bishop fries. Didn't even get a sorry. No not recommended

We have just stayed for 1 night in our Motorhome. I rang about 3pm to book and spoke to the receptionist who was lovely on the phone and explained she would be there until 5pm which was great with us.
When we got there we were told where to go and that we could choose which pitch as only one other was taken.
The receptionist really was lovely, homely and very down to earth, which I like. The Reception was full of leaflets about what to do around the area and Cumbria.
The pitch was a little worn if I am honest but all we wanted was a Sea View and this pitch was perfect for that and at £18 all in I am not complaining.
You are through a gate and straight down onto the beach, which is cobbles at first and then onto sand. We didn't walk all the way along to St Bees but I think you can.
We had a meal in the Seacote Hotel that night, and what a gorgeous meal it was. Homemade Chips.... delicious....... I had scampi and my better half had a Burger with a Chicken piece, bacon and cheese priced so reasonably at £7.95 it was huge and delicious, he added chips and onion rings for I think £2.00 extra. It was really busy as they had a wedding on but our meal was delivered quickly. The staff were all lovely and polite. It is only a short walk across a lit car park from the caravan park.
We didn't use the Showers/WC so I cannot comment on these and that is why I have only given 4 stars along with the pitches being a little worn and the fence looking run down.
We most definitely will be coming back here.... Thank you Seacote Park for a lovely stay and the hotel for a lovely meal.... . and the view to die for.

On the edge of the sea so gets strong sea breezes on more than one night, so the caravan rocked a lot.
