Ennerdale Country House Hotel

Just had a fantastic weekend here... Lovely quaint hotel... Nice grounds.. staff are very helpful... Friendly... Nice food.. Breakfast very nice.. Will definitely be coming back...

A good experience in a beautiful building. Slightly let down by the fact that out of 6 pillows, all were incredibly hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. Everything else though was lovely, especially the Jacuzzi bathtub in the room. Food was delicious and well priced. Would definitely go back.

Rooms are clean and quite traditional. Friendly staff and relaxed bar area. Accommodating of late check ins. Marked down slightly as it was quite quiet when I stayed and it took around 30 mins for breakfast to be served; bit of a pain if you want a quick bite before work.

Really nice place. Historic building. Comfortable room but food wasn't great in restaurant.

Not the cleanest room I have ever been in. Toilet was grim. Staff seemed friendly enough but didn't see a soul when I checked out early morning. Incredibly noisy during the room...sounds of pipes and toilet macerators. I won't rush back.
