Story

Scotts farm is a family run campsite in West Wittering. We cater for families and couples aiming to provide a relaxed and friendly experience for all of our customers.

We are located in West Wittering, West Sussex, Our site is around a 10 minute walk from East wittering beach and 5 minutes to East Wittering village which is a quintessence seaside village with plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes . West wittering beach is a little further away but has won several awards for its rolling dunes and stunning coastline and is only 20 minutes away by foot. Ample parking facilities for a varying fee are also provide
.
In terms of facilities, we have excellent toilet and shower facilities (with baby changing) that are cleaned regularly with plenty of hot water to go around. We have a large dog walking field towards the back of our site and have recently installed a dog shower to hose them down after a long stroll on the beach.

We have an excellent sandy play area for children, which is great for them to make new friends. We also provide WiFi free of charge, although we would prefer you enjoyed the lovely beaches and surrounding area away from emails and calls.

We have an onsite wash room with plenty of basins to wash up after any BBQs. And there is also a clothes washer and dryer on site, tokens for which can be provided at reception.

Everyone at Scotts farm looks forward to seeing you and your families/partners for a relaxing time by the sea.

We have had a fantastic 5 days camping at Scott’s farm and would have loved to stay for another 5 days if it wasn’t for work commitments. I don’t often write reviews but felt like I had to after reading some of the negative comments. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman on check in. He was very welcoming and friendly. He provided a map of the site and gave us multiple locations to choose from. He asked if we wished to camp near to anyone that we were meeting but it was just myself, my partner and our dog. We agreed that as we didn’t have children it would be quieter for us to camp away from the children’s park. The site is very large so the pitch felt private and quiet. No issues with noise. Never had to queue for a shower or a toilet as there were lots available. Great facilities such as the mobile phone charging lockers. Brilliant location. 2 Shops in walking distance to top up food and drink supplies. Pub also in walking distance. We would recommend the site and hope to return again.
I had a really lovely and enjoyable experience at Scott’s farm. They have a nice play area for kids to play in. The toilets are really clean even when it’s raining! The town nearby is very nice. Staff were very helpful with giving information about the local area and they were very polite. I think the prices are very fair! A very good place for a family holiday.
What a nightmare place… The shower facilities where appalling at best. We stayed for two nights, first night the water just about came out the shower head and was scolding hot, not just my opinion as I could hear people left and right in the shower cubicles saying the same exact same thing. Second night off to the showers and they decided to do the cleaning in one shower block at 7pm… WHO DOES THAT AT THE BUSIEST TIME OF DAY. When in the queue at the other block a man comes out after 30 seconds and says don’t bother With that one as there’s hardly any water coming out so I left it in offered it to other people in the queue and no one else wanted it either, when the next one came available further down I entered undressed press the button for the shower and lo and behold the water dribbled out so I had to have a shower standing 2 to 3 inches away from the wall to be able to get under the water that was dribbling out an absolute joke and the same again it wasn’t just me I could hear everyone else shouting in the block that the same thing is happening to them absolute disgrace. £35 a night camping and you can’t even have a resemblance of a shower. Both nights the noise was horrendous, it was as if everyone Knew it was like it there so everything carried on. There were supposed to be no groups but there were 5 family sized tents together in like a circle with a table set like a banquet table and banging out loud music from what must have been an almighty sound system. We were kept up both night nights getting the odd hour before being woken up again. People packed up and moved right to the other side to get away from it all good luck with that. Look forward to the owners excuses In their response if I have one. In the spirit of giving credit where due, I’ll just add my wife just said to say the washing up facilities were fabulous. Also the young man in reception was extremely polite.
Good campsite everything is easy, turn up pick your place. Toilets are always clean and the playground is fun for the kids. There is no shade and they won't let you have a gazebo or anything even if you were to pay. It's very flat.
We haven't been able to stay at Scott's Farm for a while but we're very happy to be back on familiar ground again. The site is immaculately clean and tidy, the staff are all friendly and helpful, everything you could want for a relaxing break. Looking forward to a few more visits this season.
This is our favourite place,,we try to stay here 3/4 year, love every thing about this site, the staff are so helpful, but the best thing is they care about pensioners giving a good deal mid week, which we very much appreciated ,can’t wait to come again this year, Bernard & Sharon Hanson
Great campsite. It has excellent facilities and even provides charging lockers for charging phones free of charge. Though you will need your own padlocks for the lockers. There are facilities for caravans and campervan including electricity supply. It's a 15 minutes walk away from East Wittering town centre should you need supplies. The East Wittering beach is only a little further from the town centre and West wittering beach is a short drive away. Be warned it does get crowded and is very popular and the parking charges can range on the day from £6.50 to £10. Pre pay early on for parking to make sure you get your spot.
I went to go here with friends, who have children to spend the weekend away. We arrived and we’re turned away because we didn’t have children and weren’t allowed to be part of a group which is fine offered to stay at a different area but was still refused. It was basically explained to me if I was older I would Be able to stay basically assuming I would cause trouble or disturbance to others not only were they ageist but discriminatory. Two hour drive wasted and nowhere else to stay they were aware this was the scenario. They still said tough. I spoke to a friend outside who hadn’t even been into the office they were then turned away because of the “group factor” they had two young children in the car and found themselves in the same situation all because they spoke to me. I will add I was polite about the situation. Didn’t raise my voice and tried to explain my case. The staff aren’t trained in customer management when it comes to a situational problem. They just know how to take your money with a smile. Very much looked forward to this trip and wasted an entire day off travelling. All to spend time with my close friends who had children with them Site looked nice. Poor managed. Staff are too negative and inflexible.
Absolutely love Scott's Farm. We’ve spent 3 weeks down there this summer. Site is clean, staff friendly and helpful. 10 minute walk to the beach, shops nearby. I don’t drive, everything you need is walking distance. Buses to Chichester, nearby Strawberry picking, we’ve had a great time. Can’t wait to come back
We love the site for it's relaxed freedom but struggled with the £35 a night to visit as often as we'd like. Love you guys at the camp & would really love you a lot if you could lower the price. Cost of living is hurting. Loyalty card is offered which is nice anyway :-
