Used to be a decent Caravan site, now they charge you through the nose for absolutely everything, even for having an outside tap amongst other trivial issues.
I went for breakfast at the Kabin. Denise's breakfast is superb and I thoroughly enjoyed it, as always. I have a friend on Holdens and he was singing the praises of the caravan park to me only this afternoon. He loves the club and spoke very highly of the food. Well done.
It is what it is, a simple park with not so much on site for kids, the arcade is pretty poor - machines not working correctly, although they have some retro games which is great. On site pub has great staff and friendly too.
It is a lovely peaceful place with the beach and East Wittering just down the road. Have been coming here since I was a child. Unfortunately, there is nothing to do onsite if you have children, though it is great to get the children out in the fresh air or on their bikes. Plenty of field space for outdoor games and the club house is now open more regularly. As most people own their caravans here, you do tend to see the same faces so it has a real community feel.
have been coming here since I was a child: has such a lovely community feel as we know many of our neighbours, the entertainment is a bit sparse but the beaches are absolutely lovely, and we spend most of our time there the parking can get quite pricy but definitely worth it if you arrive early and spend a while there! The arcade and restaurant/pub are a nice family outing, and the small town is lovely. Usually bring up our transportable badminton set for some entertainment or play tennis/fly kites. Would definitely recommend! :
Only visited for about two hours. Its clean & tidy. A good start if you're staying on a caravan park.
The worst company to work for. Took paternity time off for the newborn at home and got given my p45 as I wasn't around when he needed me,even though there is 5 other workers. Be warned he is litralky the hardest person to work for. Ask for a new broom because the one you use is broken he finds you a semi broken one. Ask for a new drill as it's broken he buys 3.... no logic atal. Run by idiots
Went to view some caravans and they have some ranging for all manor of price ranges. They started us at the bottom spec and started working our way up to the limit of our budget. We could see what we were getting for our money in the various specs and choose from there. They are constantly renovating plots as well to suit new caravans. Hopefully lots of memories are created here.
Holden Caravan Park needs to have the huge potholes filled which are dangerous to all. Right outside the club there is holes that not seen at night and some one could be injured. They have not bothered about the holes and now in full season they are a sign that the owners don't care
A relaxed family site with fair to good on site facilities including a launderette, a bar with occasional live entertainment and a small amusement arcade. The amusement arcade consists mostly of gambling machines so not much of interest for children aside from a few old video game machines - Crazy Taxi and Outrun. There's a lovely cafe on site with great value meals including English breakfasts and wonderfully friendly service. The site is well kept and there's plenty of green lawn space that helps to give a relaxed and uncrowded feel. Butane can be bought on site. There's on-site WiFi £5 for three days but the quality is very poor in terms of reliability and speed. The only mobile network that works on-site with any reliability is EE.
