Well what can I say!! - As novice campers we arrived with no booking (which I would advise to actually book) by chance we had the last pitch. Great welcome - We were the only tent as others were caravans and campers BUT very welcomed. -We went for lunch on site. A beautiful log cabin area. Very cheap for the amount of food you get...my son had fish fingers, a first in years and loved them. Food is lush and a nice portions. - I say it's a very quiet camp and for our sons first ever trip it was perfect. -Bathrooms were very clean with use of hairdryer. -Showers are more modernised with cubicles with a dry changing area before entering your own private shower. -We cannot wait to visit again!!!!! Also must add we bought a product in the shop which was cheaper than buying second hand from Amazon!!! This place will not rip you off I asked my son (7) would he like to come back and he said Yes! He said he's done the rides but loves camping

We stayed in Nr 1,Teal chalet, it was lovely, two separate rooms with a TV in each room. Very comfortable twin beds. Bottle of wine, two bottles of water, two packet of crisps, two packs of biscuits on arrival. Breakfast and dinner excellent with a good selection. We were there for a Country /Irish Music festival, so didn't use the other facilities. Lovely lake with coots, ducks and swans outside our chalet door.

Visited over Easter weekend to visit Portsmouth Historic Dockyards and the local area. Despite the poor weather, we had a lovely weekend. Cafe on site just opened - Staff friendly but new to their role. Lovely food, reasonably priced. Could do with some sort of music in the background to create an atmosphere out of the silence but otherwise good.

We only had 4 nights at this camp site we would have loved to have stayed longer but work has to come in between, so pleased to have stayed here we will definitely be coming back to the site. Toilet and shower blocks were very clean and tidy 😊😊. we have stayed on a number of sites before that are not as good as this they may have had more on site like club house but just a short walk there are pubs. Staff are very pleasant to speak to and welcoming. We would definitely be pleased to get a sited pitch very pleased to have stayed here 😁😁😁😁.
