Beautiful, lots to do, had so much fun. The staff are brilliant, very helpful with anything you ask. The people around the site are friendly. We stayed at White Horse which is a gorgeous site to be on and we got the courtesy bus to the other site which was great as well. So much here to do plus plenty of eating places. We will definitely come back and hopefully bring lots more of our family with us.
On my first day Alexei at the Carvery went above and beyond our expectations. He was extremely busy and served everyone with a smile and excellent service. Everywhere we have been on site has been welcoming and friendly. We are staying on site with friends in their lodge and have never been in a big site ever so this is a new experience. We'll definitely be back as it's a lovely place to relax and have fun.
Had a great time, camped for a week. Really nice staff, 2 swimming pools, amusements, little funfair, a mile of private beach, shows at night, playgrounds, cycle rides, a surfing thingy... I could go on and on. Fun times, great weather, lovely resort. It's not one of those quiet rural places with just a few people - it's huge - but there's lots for kids to do and nobody will be bored.
We had an amazing time, it was nice to be away from the usual business. Staff were absolutely friendly. Being ethnic minority we didn't feel away at all, which was something I was concerned about. Everyone from staff to guest were pleasant.Rooms: 5/5
Bunn Leisure is fantastic! There is a lot to do, especially for children. For adults, u have entertainment in the huge bar/hall. There is also bingo, funfair, crazy golf, indoor/ outdoor pools, sunbeds, amusement arcades, a few shops, cafe, restaurants and much more. Pure entertainment! Caravans are beautiful and well kept.Rooms: 5/5
What a brilliant resort, well presented, easily navigable and buses to help you get around the sites, facilities are fantastic with some very good pools and entertainment facilities aswell as several arcades, soft plays, play areas, and activities from pottery painting to sand art and some brilliant food venues from restaurants and cafes to outdoor food from pizza, burritos and Greek style to fish and chips and deserts. The park was clean, tidy and very family friendly and although they where a little short staffed in some places, the week we where there we did not find one member of staff who wasn't friendly and helpful. Fantastic holiday experience and value especially compared to some big brand holiday sites who have a location a town over
Arrived to find that two of the 3 club houses closed without being . Kids entertainment daytime was cancelled due to lack of staff. Beds in the caravan were tiny. Night time shows are now mediocre compared to the bunn leisure entertainment that used to be put on. I also had to bring a works van to there with me so not having to go to Reception anymore to check in was not told that this van was not aloud on site so security team decide to leave a note and flag me down being rude in explaining that the vehicle was not permitted to be on site and also I was speed around the site so for 1 there was no information shown to me about my vehicle not being aloud on site as it was there for the past 3 days and secondly the vehicle had been parked and not moved so to lie about speed around site is a joke. So for me packing up 2 days early before the weeks out and getting home was the best part of this. Bunn leisure was good this place now is a whole new level of bad and I will not be returning
Was treated like a criminal by the security team i was mistreated and hurt on my hand and neck by a eight year boy on the bus and couldn't not even defend myself. I will take this further as my whole family was humiliated by your security team. The only reason i was in the bus by myself was that my daughter left her phone at white horse and we went to pick it up when returning there was only one seat in the bus so my daughter went with my wife and i stayed. The lack of respect for paying cusomers and the treatment we received is absolutely shocking and will not be tolerated. I will instruct my legal team to pursue legal action as this is unacceptable.
We have just returned from a week at seal bay. We stayed in west sands 504 which whilst it was a modern caravan we were immediately met with the odour of dog and a caravan covered in dog hair. The photo attached is what I scraped off the carpet with my foot prior to cleaning. After ringing housekeeping 2 hours later some cleaners turned up and did the best they could but it was still everywhere - Why are pet and non pet caravans not kept separate?? I've never had this issue with other holiday providers before. The facilities onsite were ok but almost everywhere you went there was a huge queue. Want to go to the oasis swimming? - expect an hour wait with no booking system - not really going to work very well with 2 kids and an 8 month old baby in tow. Then once you get in it's so busy you can barely move and the changing rooms are filthy with half the lockers not working - most of the signs had fell off according to the attendant! The arcades are similarly busy and the machines seem to pay out little and you need 1000+ tickets to get a remotely acceptable prize. The chip shop box fish was ok, we had one very good takeaway but then one very average towards the end of the week. Burrito and greek takaway were both great as was the ocean bar although drinks were a bit expensive, maybe i'm not used to such prices nearish London as we live in the midlands. The general site has quite a bit of litter around which wasn't picked up regularly and the main waste bins near us had a full recycling bin all week that went un-emptied so everyone simply binned their recycling not a great CSR message from the owners. Finally the place is just rowdy. On our first night the couple/family in the caravan next to us had a huge fight at midnight with people shouting everywhere and security removing one half of the party. Blood stains and bloody soaked tissues were simply left discarded all in the car park and next to our car. My kids also woke up during it all and were somewhat anxious over what was happening. Equally all week as soon as the club kicked out everyone made loads of noise leaving, singing and shouting on their way past. Not great if you have young children. It just seemed lawless at night. Positives: The beach is fantastic and in relation to the park its very eash to get to. The staff - all were pleasant and polite although seemingly working under a huge amoung of pressure. The choice if food onsite is good. Out of main season it might be a nicer and more 'accessible' place, but it's not for me. We have stayed at many Haven sites and many through Hoseasons thinking this would be similar but this place just isn't for us and If I am honest I have left with the impression its just a money making machine for the new owners with little care over the actual resort experience. Its a real shame as it could be a great place but it's possibly being poorly managed or needs a heap of investment to double the size of the facilities so it can cope in main Season. So bottom line for me is I can't recommend staying here and we won't be coming back.
Checked into a nice caravan 1048 look nice & clean untill we need to sweep carpet then we couldn't believe if the cleaners even used a hoover otherwise carpet what a shocking dog hair's.Rooms: 5/5
