We stayed here as a family group for two nights. The camp itself was clean and tidy and well kept. Our area was covered in wasps though I know this can’t be helped I would say this is a very quiet camp and more suited to small statics rather then camping. Only cash accepted & will hunt you down if you don’t pay within seconds of returning to the site. Genuine mistake of not paying internet issue but being passive aggressive in front of children doesn’t go down well with me. If you own anything other then a car don’t use this site. They are not allowed on. Shower & toilet block clean & tidy but dreadful pressure if others are being used & water just trickled down the wall. Site was OK, but wouldn’t recommend for young families at all.
We travel a lot, this site is quiet, well maintained and clean. Shower blocks immaculate. Due to size everything is within a minute walk. It's location is perfect for South East travel, personally couldn't fault it and well worth a return visit. Very competitive pricing considering neighbouring sites.
Regularly stay at this and cannot fault it. The facilities may a bit dated but they are kept spotlessly clean all throughout the day. The owners are lovely and friendly. Within easy reach of bracklesham and wittering beaches, lovely.
Stayed here last week and I can't fault it, we were quickly shown to our pitch by a very friendly pair of owners. The field we were in was at the back of the campsite and turned out to be very quiet. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and always seemed to be free when needed. The campsite is ideally situated for traveling anywhere in the Chichester area and even further afield. I would have no hesitation in recommending this campsite.
Was last here over 10 years ago, still a lovely, well-kept, quiet site.
I have visited a few times now and always enjoy it here and will hopefully visit again next season, however my visit this time has a tiny moan about lighting by toilet block's at back along path I feel there needs to be a light going along the back of block due to uneven pavament or where the paving is uneven needs painted white/yellow so stands out especially for any elderly people visiting as like me may find they nearly trip and fall which can be avoided just by this simple measure. 5* for the site as lovely, clean and quite place to visit even if its a stop off or like me a little holiday
Started lovely, but ended with a bad taste in our mouths!!!! We have been to this camping site several times before and always liked it a lot due to its location near the beaches and plenty of space for our little tent. As it was very early in the season when we stayed, second weekend of April, we were allowed to stay just one night as we decided to go camping as a last minute thing. They have one electric hook up pitch for tents which basically is an extension from the camping pitches, but it works fine, so if you're a tent that want electricity, make sure you book early. We checked in at 3pm and upon check in we were told that we had to check out 24 hours after we checked in. As it was a lovely sunny and warm day we decided to stay by our tent instead of going to the beach. Around 1pm the owner of the campsite came to cut the grass and stopped and asked us if we were staying another night, as our tent was still up, which we said no to, when he grumpily said "well, in that case you have to be out by 2". My husband said to him that we hadn't checked in till 3 so we were going to leave around 3, but the caretaker didn't want to hear anything of this. As there was no one else in a huge field and hardly long lines of people waiting to get in to take over our pitch we thought this was very square and unfriendly of him. This left us with a very bad feeling and ruined our day. And from being our first choice of camping site down in this area, we don't want to spend our money coming back here now. It's not too much to ask to show a bit of friendliness and customer service especially when there is no one else waiting for the place to be used!!!
Very quiet, excellent amenities, toilets were very clean. Good covid measures. Outstanding grass, like perfectly manicured grass. Would visit again.
Nice peaceful site. Good clean facilities. Very helpful staff. A brief stay this time, but will be back
Went to camp here without realising that the front gate would be shut overnight until 7:30am for security measures. We needed to leave at 6am to board a ferry and found ourselves shut in. Fortunately for us, after ringing the bell at reception a lovely lady came out, awoken from her sleep, to open the gate. Even did it with a smile on her face. Fantastic service.
