I had a great weekend here. A spiritual retreat of workshops. Loved this experience. Chalets were basic which was fine. So busy all day and evening. Busier workshops, was turned away as in too small a room. Trance healing in too large a room so really, needs a rethink. Food was very good except more choices of fish and vegetarian options needed please. The chalets need painting as need decorating but also in colour. The band's that performed on Saturday and Sunday evening's were very good.

Stayed with wife and family for Christmas. The room was an absolute dump. Smelled of mould and mildew with spiders and cobwebs. The place was apparently last updated in 1970 something and appeared to have been cleaned last in the same year!!!! Kitchen worker there was rude and angry and very aggressive had to see him every day while we were there. The food wasn’t that great either. Even though the room sucked and the kitchen guy was a butthole the entertainment was decent. The recreation assistant was friendly and great with the kids. Overall if you were drunk enough you could maybe overlook the dumpy accommodations. If you are looking for a younger crowd I would say that most of the guest have been coming back year after year since many of the guest were pensioners probably a good 20 plus years into their retirement. Was fun and entertaining but I wouldn’t say it was an ideal holiday getaway ! I definitely would not call this place a 4 start hotel either!

I had a fabulous meal last Wednesday. There were plenty of staff working all really helpful and friendly. The psychic evening after our meal just finished off a lovely evening. Highly recommended

Food and entertainment great. Basic accomodation very poor. No remote control for TV. Bulbs in lights not working. Shower curtain hooks not attached to curtains had to fix them before use. Ceiling light shade thick with dead fly's. Shame nice place can't understand why these faults can't be reported by house keeping. Once reported they dealt with speed.

We stopped and had a look around MillRythe holiday site when passing in car on a day out. we usually go to Warner campsthere. We thought the people there that we saw in the afternoon we're all about 80 and above! so perhaps we it will be better when the families go there in the summer holidays. all looked nice and clean. So we will pop in then for a look.
