I live on Hayling about a 5 minuet walk from the beach and me and my family love it. Only annoying thing is in the summer it is a pain to get on and off the island but apart from that what a lovely place we live in and lovely beaches to sit on and take the children to play 😊

We love Hayling ! Have been coming here all our lives ! It's a lovely place to visit or live & the people are very honest, in general, so much so that years ago, they got rid of the Police Station here ! It's now a Post Office / Royal Mail Sorting Office ?! They just have a Base there now at the back of the local library !

What can I say, born and raised here so have to give it 5 stars. Beaches are lovely in the summer and busy if it's hot. The island has a funfair that again is busy in the summer. Beaches are clean unless there's been a storm, mainly stone beaches however there's are the odd spots where it's not an issue. I would highly recommended when getting to the beach walk along the beach a little for the best quiet spots. To many people drive up and park, then just walk down to the beach front. Hence all carparks are busy and the beaches around them are very busy. Not what it used to be... but still a nice place..

A beautiful place to stay ( weather permitting ). My only reservation is that owing to the narrow streets & lack of pavemented area children need to be very seriously supervised at all times.
