Story

Wimbledon's most successful restaurant has served both a local and an international clientéle for over 40 years, with a unique blend of Tuscan-rooted recipes. Virtually everything, from bread to cantucci, pasta and ice-cream is hand-made on the premises, ensuring a culinary style of the highest quality, true to it's maternal traditions.

Deceptively large, with modern, classic interiors furnished with many important artworks, and with a beautiful summer courtyard for perfectly secluded al-fresco dining, right in the heart of SW19.

Excellent food wine and service. Really like San Lorenzo in Wimbledon, four stars only because it lacks a bit if atmosphere.

35 mins and 2 reminders later we finally received our cold starters that were meant to be hot. We asked that our mains were brought right away... so we got our cold chewy steaks. At least the spinach was warm. Interesting observation I made about majority of the positive reviews: notice the amount of reviews left by the reviewers...200+ for many of them... clearly paid for positive reviews... just don’t waste the time and money on this place.

One of the better Italian restaurants in Wimbledon, yes, it is quite pricey but well worth it, the food is excellent, the ambiance chilled, well behaved children and there is also a back garden, went there for Mother's day as it was a treat and money well spent, only qualms about this place is the staff, which is quite sad, I love this place, if I ever win the lottery I would go there everyday for Supper.

Experience was much better than the reviews suggest. Food was delicious, cooked and prepared to a high quality (although it needs to be for the price!). Service was good and the outdoor seating area at the back is great for spring-early autumn times.

A bit expensive but you feel as in a real Italian restaurant, food is medium-good
