My son was asking for quesadillas, so we decided to dine at Wahaca, as we had heard great reviews about the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. My son loved the quesadillas so much that he asked for a second serving! Although I am personally not too fond of Mexican food, I found the food at Wahaca to be enjoyable. The servers were very attentive, and the casual vibe and service were amazing.
My visit here was enjoyable, with a lovely ambiance and excellent service from Cristina, our waitress. However, the lack of indication regarding spice levels on the menu left me unprepared, as someone who isn't particularly fond of spicy food, while I understand that Mexican cuisine often incorporates spicy elements, a heads-up would have been appreciated. Additionally, offering a side of sour cream could enhance the dishes and cater to varying tastes. Despite these minor issues, the restaurant provides a pleasant dining experience overall.
We had the best date night dinner at this branch on Wednesday 24/04. The food was delicious, the drinks were great and I have to give a specially shout out to Gianina who was so so helpful, hilarious, attentive and just brilliant at her job. Ask for G if you go here! She really made the night.Food: 5/5
Had a fabulous lunch here today with the lovely and very funny Gianina G serving us and offering her wealth of knowledge and insight into the best dishes to order - to be fair I think ALL the dishes are exceptional. I have been going here for years and Wahaca never disappoints - exceptionally delicious food great service and fun atmosphere! Gianina really looked after us and at the end of the meal - absolutely stuffed like telly tubbies - G graciously gave us a portion of churros on the house - what a lovely thing to do muchos gracias amiga!
Glad they’ve reopened as we usually tend to visit the other branch but this is closer. Food was good but the rainbow bowl was severed at room temperature chicken should’ve been warmer as it was a huge let down. Remaining items arrived hot as they should be. The table we were given was at an awkward place making it hard to call the staff for anything even the bill. Otherwise it was ok
1st trip back to Wahaca in what seemed an age didn't disappoint. The food was amazing just like I remembered and the service by Dan was great, even recommending a side dish I'd not tried in the sweet potato which was lovely would have again and suggesting the blackberry margarita after I asked about a seasonal version they'd had before. Churros were great thanks again. I went for lunch so I imagine the dinner rush has a busier atmosphere but I tend to like the quiet.
Excellent food and cocktails! Our waitress, G, was funny, attentive and gave great recommendations. Will come again soon!Food: 5/5
Lovely lunch. But I would like to suggest a set menu for 1 person so single diners can experience the whole variety of the menu. Not everyone dines with others. Parking: Easy next door to Morrison
Visiting the Wimbledon branch of Wahaca and we enjoyed a great meal. We were served by Cristina who was lovely and helpful. We hope to return again in the near future.Food: 5/5
