Opened in 2013, the Lu-ma cafe is firmly established with vegan and vegetarian lovers alike thou it dose do a nice fish or meat option if required? Very friendly staff are on hand who were happy to talk through the menu with me Being my first time Best get here just after 12.00pm as it became busy by 12.30pm Loved the carrot and ginger soup. as well as their brownie and ice cream Photos attached. Very touched that the owners have used one of the photos I took (with Consent) to publicise the cafe, as their main shot ( has now had over 100'000 views ) 😐 Have been back. now three Am hoping to have a small works lunch in the pipe line to arrange when back again.

Review from a happy coeliac :-) Excluding a couple of drinks and some food available to buy for take-out, this is a 100% Gluten Free cafe, hurrah! The Venue - Curious little place incorporated into a boutique hotel. Light and airy and relaxed vibe. Outdoor seating in warmer months. The Menu - Mostly simple, mostly healthy, and not at all pretentious. There are lots of treats available too including pancakes and some very, very lovely raw desserts. The Food - Well prepared, well plated. Chocolate Orange Raw cake is one of the most gorgeous raw cakes I have ever tried, and I have tried a lot! The Service - I was delighted that the chef offered to whip up a special batch of buckwheat flour pancakes when I explained I avoided even gluten-free oats.

Really tasty clean food. We had the breakfast after a morning in the gym. Perfect poached eggs, bread, and healthy veggies and beans. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely go back and try the other options on the menu...:)

Lu-Ma Cafe is a great concept. As a wannabe vegetarian, I just love the idea. But the service, portions and above all price kills the place dead. I’d dearly love to give a 5* review; but £5 for a small piece of cake and £6.50 for a small soup and piece of bread is ridiculous, and on a busy road, out of the way in Wimbledon! I genuinely feel that with heavy price reductions and tweaking the concept could be amazing and convert many people to healthier, honest food. But at the moment I was just left frustrated and annoyed. Unless I hear things have changed I sadly won’t be back. ;(

Fantastic place. The environment is very cosy and the staff has always a smile. It's family friendly. Delicious and healthy meals.
