Excellent pub menu - steaks served with chunky chips are really good! Prices are average but the ambiance is a notch up from average. Great location, just round the corner from Odeon Cinema and the station. Lovely interiors.

The bar staff are good but the door staff totally ruined our night by snatching our drinks from us when they called last orders. If you serve us a whole bottle of prosecco when you ring the last orders bell you've got to give us more than 10 mins to drink it!!! Door staff were aggressive and grabbed our drinks from our hands, injuring my partners hand as they did it. They asked us to drink up and we clearly weren't drinking quick enough for them as within a few minutes they were back grabbing our drinks from our hands. Never experienced door staff like it. We had a friend visiting from overseas and I was embarrassed that they had that experience of an English pub. The bar staff seemed quite happy for us to finish our drinks but the door staff ruined our evening. Very disappointed. There are other places to drink in Wimbledon. I'd highly recommend the Alexandra just up the road from Prince of Wales. All the staff there are friendly and you're guaranteed a more pleasant evening where you're able to finish your drink in peace. Don't bother with the Prince of Wales!

A cavernous pub with great staff and good beer. Unfortunately, Bertie's cellar bar not open when I visited, that's the luck of the draw. Great if you want to meet up in Wimbledon as right by the underground. Honest boozer!

The service was good and so was the food. Provided you go when there are no sport showing its a very quiet relaxing atmosphere.

Great staff, dont wait long to be served, atmosphere friendly, sky and BT sports with new large TV's good food menu.
