About

Contemporary restaurant just 1 minute from Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square, serving authentic, freshly prepared Pakistani and Indian food.

Story

Salt’n Pepper London is the first restaurant in the UK from the famous international restaurant group Salt’n Pepper.

We serve fresh, authentic and delicious Indian and Pan-Asian dishes created and perfected by our founder, Mahmood Akbar. A small selection of these dishes include: BBQ kebabs, handis, karahis, fresh seafood, daals, fresh seasonal vegetables, tandoori breads and home-made puddings.

We’re located just a minute’s walk from the buzz of Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square and The National Gallery. We also have a large heated outdoor terrace and we're open late Thursday - Saturday.

English breakfast just isn't for me it seems. Salt and Pepper has given me my first and last. I just don't really need spaghetti-o-beans with ham and a floppy egg in the morning. Nice service, good location. Your mileage may vary.
Had a very terrible experience here in terms of interaction with the owner. The food was okay but very decent priced. The owner was extremely rude and made me feel like I was invisible. He wouldn’t look at me or acknowledge me when I ordered or went to pay and would pass up people behind me in line both times I was at the cashier. He also looked annoyed as if he didn’t want my presence in his restaurant. I thought that was how he was at first but noticed he was great with everyone else. Felt extremely discriminated here.
English breakfast at its finest! It was tasty, the staff was really nice and we got breakfast very quickly. Orange juice is freshly squeezed. We recommend!
My husband and I came here for lunch and were seated right away. The food came pretty quickly and was delicious, the staff also kindly accommodated a slight substitution of ingredients we requested with no fuss. We really enjoyed our food and thought there was a good variety on the menu. We visited here on a whim but would definitely return when in London- it would be very handy if you were visiting the British Museum, as it's just round the corner.
A cafe in the neighborhood nearby the British Museum that serves sandwiches, coffee and more. It has approx 10 indoor tables for dine-in seatings and 3 sets of tables for patio seating. There is always an option for you to order to go if you are in a rush, or ask for a menu and grab a seat if you would like to enjoy ur meal. Friendly staff providing recommendations on the food selection. Efficient at multitasking as I approached the counter for payment while two other clients before me having an issue confirming their food selection, the staff excused herself from pending their order and proceeded to quickly process my payment to avoid a queue build up.
Such a great spot with a delicious and healthy menu. I wish I took pics of our breakfast but we were so excited to eat, it was devoured pretty fast. Everything was fresh and delicious. The family owners work hard to please with a smile: It was right next to our hotel so we’d go almost everyday. Btw.. the porridge is awesome. My kids would crave it every morning. Perfect breakfast for a whole day of walking and exploring the city. Love this place!
Very tasty breakfast, great service. We ate here few days in a row with my family. Children enjoyed their favourite omelet and fresh juices. Very highly recommended.Recommended dishesAvocado Toast, Porridge, Eggs Benedict, Salmon and Avocado
We went both days of our stay in London, for breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict and the most divine mocha ... I had to take one away with me as well as having one there. Although the eggs Benedict were delicious, I did find the toasted sourdough a bit tough.. it did not want to separate from itself - May I suggest sharper knives? As the flavour was perfect. My only real gripe was the service charge, I understand the need when it comes to large parties but not such a high surcharge for a table for two. I tip if I’m happy; no one likes to feel forced. All in all: The vibe was fab; the service was fast & efficient the women work the hardest that’s clear! the chap owner I presume showing us to our table was charming enough to us but did seem to ‘bark’ at his female coworkers.
Great little café. I had a salad for lunch one day and coffee on a few occasions whilst in London on business. The service was very slow for the in-house seated lunch but the takeout coffees were quick and of good quality.
Simple cafe to have breakfast. Fast and friendly service. Fair prices for the location. Good food.
