Absolutely the most delicious Indian food we had in London. We went in at 3pm or so after many hours of touring after a friend recommended this place to us. Very happy we found it and went in. The lovely hostess recommended these dishes to us and every last bite was so flavorful and scrumptious. Highly recommend if you like Indian food flavors!
Superb Indian food in a warm, welcoming environment! The owner and his daughter took clear pride in their work; we did the sampling menu so got to try an assortment of dishes that were all explained to us in detail as they were served. Really looking forward to returning here again.Food: 5/5
I recently dined at Tandoor Indian Restaurant and had an incredible experience. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. The service was equally impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating, making sure everything was just right. One thing that really stood out was how quickly the food came out, which was a pleasant surprise. Even better, I was able to make a small change to my order with no hassle at all. The restaurant has a great atmosphere as well – warm, inviting, and perfect for a cozy meal. Overall, Tandoor is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine. I highly recommend it!
A wonderful venue that served exceptional Indian food. All cooked to perfection in a small intimate surrounding. I cannot implore how good the food is here. The chops are to die for. The starters or small dishes amazing. Highly recommend as we are regulars here because when you find a gem there’s no need to keep searching.Food: 5/5
Love love love this restaurant. Everything was delicious. Some stand outs was the cod and lamb chops for sure. And naan!!! The chicken Caesar salad was so delicious A perfect combination of sweet and seasoning. Dreaming about it.
What a supreme delight....wow. I don't think any other establishment I've been to including a fair few Michelin star/s restaurants can pull off such yummy naans like The Tandoor Chophouse. The seekh kebabs also top, kashmir side potatoes waahhh!!! I loved the butter chicken naan and chickpea chart....my only gripe is I didn't have enough room to try more delicious food. Excellent service and the food is the bomb . Lovely history to the place and lively atmosphere....put it on your list and go there.
Love it here. The decor is lovely. You can see the kitchen & chefs working. Thank you to the team for squeezing us in. Best to book in advance but the team are accommodating. Food is delicious. Lamb cutlets cooked to perfection. Beautifully pink inside. The house chicken was delicious & tender. Definitely order the black daal. The food is full of flavour & a fun fusion between Indian & British cuisine.
Tandoor Chophouse is definitely a crowd-pleaser. The food isn’t too spicy and there’s something for everyone. Personally, I like my Indian food a bit spicier and with more intense flavors, but I still enjoyed it. I loved that the menu was small and the service was super quick. We ordered quite a few plates because the portions weren’t that big. Standout dishes for me were the Whole Market Fish and the Lamb Salli Boti sauce—so good! The bone marrow naan was also a highlight. But I’d skip the hot honey chicken next time; it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Overall, it’s a great spot to take a group with different tastes. The food is good, the service is quick, and it’s a nice place to try a variety of dishes without feeling overwhelmed.
Was truly an amazing mea! There was two of use and we did big feast. It was so much food but it was delicious. I'm dairy free and they accommodate to the best of their ability Dietary restrictions: Dairy free options
Loved the ambience, watching the open kitchen with tandoor with a British classic pub feel. The honey honey chicken with pickled onions was full of flavour. Tangy, sweet, sour and a hint of spice. The butter chicken sauce was sweet and creamy however, could have had more body to it. The naan was loaded with butter and was unleavened but still soft. I would have preferred less butter. Would be back to try other things on the menu.
