Really enjoyed our lunch here. We went for a Welsh rarebit bun and a buttered one with jam. They were great for a lunch and there were lots of teas on offer. We ate downstairs which was quite compact but felt COVID-secure and I think there’s an option to eat upstairs too. Felt like a bit of proper Bath history!
Had a lovely lunch here. The food was very nice I had the salmon bun. The ambience was really great and the staff were very friendly. The menus told us the history and about the famous bun, and we were able to buy some to take home.
Went during the lockdown while Bath was in Tier 2. Although the museum was closed, we had a good breakfast tea and the famous buns. My favourite ones were the basic buns as the buns are pretty delicious by themselves. Would highly recommend.
Classic in every sense of the word location for the famous bath buns huge Great service, friendly and welcoming staff in what must be a very, very busy tourist heavy location. Delicious food. Historic setting. Recommended.
Sadly not able to go to the museum due to Covid. Lovely place for lunch but sadly the food I had was mainly cold/ little warm. Can go for a quick lunch or an afternoon tea. Would recommend as it is part of Bath heritage.
