It's quite interesting! Gave us a pretty good insight into British fashion over the last 300 odd years. Loved a placard that said 'End of Dandyism' or something to the effect. Interesting to note the global influence on British fashion.
Really interesting, the audio guide was very helpful. Fab collection of ancient pieces and modern stunners. Lots of designers and cultural information too. Very fun dressing up. I'm not so sure if a younger audience would enjoy it as much though.
Very insightful into the world of Fashion. 100 wonderfully displayed pieces. Recommended to do with the audio guide as it provides information with all 100 pieces. There is also a dress up area where you can feel like you are part of the Victorian era.
Didn't think we'd love this as much as we did. The exhibits are interesting and really well laid out and presented. Not too many but a varied enough selection. The free audio guide was also interersting
Helpful staff. Disabled access at entrance. Disabled toilets and lift to main displays. Cafe with vegetarian and other diets catered for. All this, and a wonderful display of fashion items through the ages. Just one caution....the main display area is below ground floor with very low light to protect the fabrics .
Interesting museum. Ticket price is 9.5 pounds for adult audio guide and costumes fitting included
