Went with a friend of mine to introduce him to this venue as a possible place to enjoy a relaxed drink with a delightful sea view.
Had helped with a charity night there( I was a bingo caller) & really enjoyed meeting the clientele.
Unfortunately this was not the case the other day...explained the reason for my visit,was met with indifference.
Asked if we could be signed  by a nearby member to enjoy a drink there with the intention of possibly joining.
Was told by the lady behind the bar that he was  just leaving ( although he had a substantial amount of beer in his glass.)
Well...not a pleasant welcome & really a place I would not visit again.
Have worked for many years (25) in the hospitality industry...can only describe this place as embroiled in the hostility industry.
