I stayed in London for a month for work. I got so lucky with Cove, Cannon St. I was struggling to find a decent and safe place for a longer than usual stay that doesn’t break the bank! I found this place. On check in, Marcus was on reception- he was the warmest most hospitable host I ever met! He accommodated all my silly wishes and then I met Victoria and Teresa! They were extremely friendly and helpful! Now enough about the amazing team, the room was spacious and clean - could use with a bit more amenities but overall it’s really good. Location of the hotel is amazing close to everything and extremely safe area. I highly recommend this place!!! Rooms: Spacious and cozy! Walkability: Close to everything. Food & drinks: Everyone is close by. Restaurants pubs supermarkets- you name it, it’s right across the street.
We had an excellent stay in Cove Cannon Street for 3 weeks in September. It was very convenient, safe and spacious for our family. The friendly staff made our stay most enjoyable for us. They were very helpful with our requests/questions and also made huge efforts to keep my 1yo entertained with toys and play, while he adjusted to London with the jet lag. My family and I would like to sincerely thank Sweetie, Bobdan, Victoria, Marcus and Teresa for making us feel at home in Cove Cannon Street. I would strongly recommend anyone to stay in Cove Cannon Street for their London trip!
Stayed here for 2 weeks during my business visit to London. Absolutely five-star experience at Cove - Cannon Street! The room was spacious for a relaxing stay, and the staff was absolutely kind and helpful throughout my stay. A special thank you to Sweetie and Victoria, whose attentive and friendly service made my visit truly exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend it!
We stayed here for 5 days with a vehicle and had to park it north in the Barbican Centre Car Park which is about a 20 min walk. You could take public trans but we decided to walk. If you have a car and have luggage would recommend parking on Bush Ln to walk your luggage to the hotel so you wont have to walk it from where ever you park. Cons: Glad it was cool enough outside to open the windows it did not seem the like the AC was able to cool the room. No wash cloths towels at all, Had to pick up towels every day from the desk Room refresh is an extra charge No parking If you are driving in the city it will be an nightmare getting in and out. I would take us 2 hours to go 22 miles. Make sure to look over how the shower is. They have a hand nozzle and a rain nozzle we were not a fan of either. On a busy street so with the windows open it was loud but it did not bother us because we were so tired. Pros: Had enough room for two people no issues with space. It was a studio apartment with a separate bath room and even a desk to sit at with a sofa and counter with oven stove and sink. It is one block away from the Mansion House tube station which can take you just about anywhere. It is even walking distance to the London Bridge and many restaurants if you are wanting to explore just take public trans to get around. Great place to stay but make sure you check if your AC works especially during the summer times. Also don't have a car here stay somewhere else if you are wanting to drive. Nearby activities: Lots of place to eat and walk around. You are near the tube so that is a must in London. Food & drinks: You can refill your water from the machine down stairs. Noteworthy details: Make sure you AC works. It did not seem like ours did but we were lucky that it was cooler outside and we were able to open the windows. Had to use a book to keep them open because they were keep closing. It is downtown so it might not be as quiet as you may like. It did not bother us we were so tired.
Nice staff. Sweetie checked us in and made sure we knew everything. Good wifi. Apartment home for less than a week. Lobby was also nice. Safe area next to bridges, markets, pharmacy, Undergrounds, pubs, restaurants, and St. Paul’s Cathedral were close by. The Borough Market 15 min walk. Firm, but comfortable bed for 2, with 4 pillows total. Basic loveseat with nice throw. Good shower & soaps. Heated bathroom tiled floor was appreciated at night and after showers. No hairdryer in room. No salt/pepper/oil, but we didn't need any. Kitchen was equipped with stove, fan, fridge, pots, and just enough tableware for 2 people. No breakfast, but coffee shops nearby. Three windows that partially open with stoppers, probably for safety, with blackout shades. Watched TV one night, no HD channels, but everything else worked. We can see ourselves coming back for a longer visit.
I booked this for a couple days with a family and Mario was very helpful to make sure we will have everything we need. The location is perfect and the apartment itself was just great. Thanks Mario!Rooms: 5/5
I had a family staying there there in late May/Early June 2024. The room and location were great. However two issues made it a challenge. First, there is no email to communicate with the property if you have questions or issues. I tried the only two I could find and never received a response. Second, my clients had a problem with the AC in the room and received no support from staff when they called. They had to sweat out their stay. So I'd say this is not a good location if you want to have good support for your stay. If you don't mind taking care of yourself and living with whatever you get, the rooms and location are good.
We stayed here for a week and it was excellent! First, shout out to all the amazing staff members who were always professional and friendly! We truly appreciate everything that the staff have done for our family. Second, the room was modern and super clean! No complaints! Third, the kitchen was superb. We were able to cook soups during a rainy London season. Fourth, this neighborhood is safe to walk around all hours of day and night! It was also very quiet! Some other plus sides: - Great elevators - Free Washer/Dryer/Detergent on site inside the room and a community one in the basement. - mansion house tube station 30 seconds away - many delicious places to eat all within a 5 minute walking distance
The Cove is an excellent apartment rental with all your basic amenities needed for your stay. The units are spacious and equipped with basic kitchen items and utensils. Additionally, there is a decent gym and free laundry on site. In terms of location, as a first time tourist in London, I did find it far from the major tourist attractions with the exception of St. Paul's cathedral but it is conveniently located near the Mansion House and Bank Street tube stations, which makes it very easy to get around the city. The only other thing to note, which some might consider a downside, is that they only clean the rooms once every 7 days. This was not an issue for me. Overall, a great stay and would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful choice in central London. Staff were all super friendly and assisted in everything we asked for. Definitely preferable to a hotel room. Rooms: One bedroom apartment. Felt brand new. Comfortable and a good choice. Walkability: Easy to walk to buy some stairs from the lift to our apartment. Noteworthy details: Super friendly staff.
