Very unique hotel - the theme and decor were great. Room was clean and hotel was located not far from a subway station. Breakfast options were abundant, and the staff were quick to clean tables so that more guests could enjoy their breakfast. I had an issue with a double charge due to using a third-party online site and the staff were unbelievably helpful in assisting me to resolve the issue. I even had to reach out to them weeks after my stay and they were more than happy to help me again. If I return to London, I will definitely stay at this hotel!
Truly gone downhill since they have replaced all their previous lovely helpful staff with a bunch of new condescending, script reading corporate bots. Been staying here for the better part of 15 years but all that loyalty has disappeared with this new takeover. I had my reservation held hostage unless I paid more money than what my app booking stated. No manager available to complain to as she’d gone home at 3pm and wasn’t coming back to work until 11am the following day! Basically called liars because I’d used points on the stay and their system in reception didn’t show them despite the chain’s app showing that I had and the specific price I should be paying. Ownership of the error should have been taken by the hotel and not made long standing customers to pay extra until they had confirmation otherwise. This debacle continued until well after we’d checked out and left. Disgraceful service and the manager has a huge chip on her shoulder and is carrying a massive superiority complex around with her all whilst calling loyal customers liars and thieves. My entire stay was tarnished by the staff at this hotel and we will not stay here again, they clearly think they’re the only hotel in London. My one star is purely for the fact that the room was ok despite a lamp being broken which meant it was even darker than they normally are, and we could see the shard from the window. Take your money elsewhere, until this new lot of staff know how to deal with people and they appoint a new less condescending manager.
We loved our stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic, and the beautiful decor adds a charming touch. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making it an excellent spot for a short visit. It offers great value for money, especially considering it's in Central London. The room was well-equipped with everything we needed, including an incredibly comfortable bed. We also appreciated the thoughtful details like complimentary water and fresh apples. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options and an extended serving time—a nice bonus if you wanted to rest a little longer in the morning. Overall, this hotel is one we would definitely recommend, and we look forward to returning in the future. Rooms: Very confortable bed. Walkability: 10 min walk from London Bridge Station. Food & drinks: Great breakfast.
I spent one relaxing night and morning in this hotel after a company Xmas party near by. The room was very quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I’d stay again and can highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
This isn’t my first time staying at this hotel, and it definitely won’t be my last. The location is perfect, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The beds are really comfortable too, which is always a plus. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be the breakfast. It leans a bit too British for my taste, and I’d love to see more options for international guests—like omelettes, different cheeses, and a variety of breads. But overall, I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in London.
The Ibis Styles is a perfect hotel in a great location close to London Bridge with easy access to public transportation. Rooms are small but modern and in good shape and the service is amazing. Breakfast is included in the rate and delicious, though it can get a little busy.
We stayed at this location for 7 nights. Staff was kind, rooms were clean, and breakfast was good! We were 5 minutes walking to the borough and about 20 minutes from tower of London, London Eye, really close to the tube that took us all over London. Amazing food all around this location!Rooms: 5/5
This was my third or fourth stay of the year with Ibis Southwark, and my best yet. There was a lovely handwritten card to welcome me to my very nice room, the staff were super friendly as always and it was the perfect location for strolling to my office and using the great transport links from London Bridge to get out and see a bit more of London and Kent. Recommend!!
The rooms were simple and clean. The Wizard of Oz decor was very nice. Service was great, breakfast was great, the only con was you had to pay 35 pounds per day to park a car if you had a rental. We turned our rental back in. Walkability: Very easy to get to the underground to get around anywhere.
My stay at the ibis was amazing. Everything was up to standard. At first alterations had to be made to accommodate my children and the receptionist was amazing in handling the situation. Thank you Ola for accommodating my children and helping quickly. We had a pleasant time in London.Rooms: 5/5
