I found this lovely b&b on the internet for a last minute anniversary treat and it being a windmill intrigued me. We were lucky to get the 4 poster room as they had a cancellation. We were met by one of the friendly owners who was very helpful and told us some great places to check out when we went out. This establishment is very warm and inviting. Our room was an amazing octagonal shape and a very comfy bed. No detail is left un thought of. The honesty bar is fabulous and the little fire you can sit listening to some music is the icing on the cake. Breakfast was amazing locally sourced goods, top quality nothing cheap here. It has to be hands down one of the most loveliest places I have been fortunate to stay in. We will be back.

Cosy and clean rooms, friendly staff with a caring owner, good typical English breakfast. Suitable for couples and families alike. Very convenient location only 2 mins from the train station and 5 mins to the old town. Would definitely come back. Only negative was the shower which had barely any pressure

The Rye Windmill is amazing and the hosts Toby and Mrs Toby are fantastic and /but currently on leave, the previous owners are stepping in to cover, I must say that the continuity is fantastic, I love the Windmill suite and the salmon and scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast is to die for. Thank you Toby and Mrs, Gill and Brian. Kind regards Mr and Mrs McLaughlin
