We stayed in the Bradley Wing and have to say it was outstanding. I don't think we got the true idea of just how spacious it was from the website. As you come in your own front door its like coming into an apartment. Seperate bathroom with both a bath & walk in shower, massive bedroom with plenty of storage along with a big walk in wardrobe with lots of storage place to hold all your belongings and a fridge to store the essentials! The icing on the cake is Gill & Brian the owners who are extremely friendly and welcoming with nothing too much trouble. The breakfast is 10/10. Mandy & John Langley

Lovely stay and comfortable room, especially the bed as plenty big enough for me being 6 foot 6 inches. Thoroughly recommend it.

A lovely bed & breakfast with free parking just a 5 minute walk from Rye town centre. Offers a spacious and chic bedroom with comfortable double bed, an adjacent wet room with shower and toilet, all conveniently separated from the rest of the building. Brian and Gill, are engaging hosts and can provide a wealth of information about Rye and the surrounding areas. They also serve up a hearty breakfast to get the day off to a good start. If you ask nicely Brian may even entertain you with his unique brand of guitar music! Thoroughly recommend The Red Cottage as a great place to stay.

We were very lucky to source this B&B ahead of a trip to Rye, run by such a charming couple, obviously highly experienced in the sector. The house is really characterful and the thought which had gone into the newly created guest bedroom & en suite facilities (including the fabulous roll top bath!) blew us away. The breakfast was excellent, catering for all reasonable demands! It was an easy walk into the middle of Rye to enjoy the evenings in the abundant local hostelries and restaurants. We will certainly be returning soon!

A fantastic bed and breakfast that has parking! Your room is a whole wing! The bathroom is a delight as it's a brand new wetroom. I was really surprised that it's only a few minutes walk away from the town center however your in a quiet no through road next to the river which has pretty walks. Don't forget to ask for the full English breakfast, I was full to bursting point.
