gorgeous restaurant with lovely decor and ambient lighting. great for date-night! professional, polite and friendly service. they even offered to charge my phone up whilst we ate. great choice on the menu, and everything we had was really tasty. would particularly recommend the bone marrow/blue cheese sauce. veggies were delicious much to the surprise of my OH! it's not the cheapest, but probably worth it as it's a really good dining experience. however I wouldn't say it's the best steak I've had (sorry!) - although we had the chateaubriand so next time I'll have the fillet for a fair comparison...

The best service I've ever experienced - food was a bit over rated. A nice atmosphere and I love the staff's professionalism. We ordered the rump and the sirloin steak with the creamed spinach, cauliflower cheese, chips, sour dough bread for sides. The rump came out very salty and ruined the experience for me. But the sirloin was good - but again nothing amazingly special. I would saved more space for dessert next time. I can't remember what we ordered but it was the best dessert I've ever had. Really nice selection: from the starters to the cuts of meat and salad to the sides. I highly recommend the crab toast and the mac and cheese. The gunpowder fizz cocktail was also a great choice. This place is on the pricier side but they have decent lunches and a prix-fixed menu option to make ordering much easier. One odd thing I have to note: when I was in the restaurant on a Friday for lunch, in a nearly-full dining room, the room was almost entirely men. This obviously isn't under the restaurant's control, I just found it peculiar.

Stunning steak with a top notch atmosphere to match. Plenty of varieties to choose from followed with highly knowledge staff and a wide ranging wine list. No lies, this is not a cheap steak place and expect to pay in the region of £50 per head for a main and side and average wine. It makes for a great place for a special occasion and worth booking ahead

Lovely cocktails the gin and ginger slush was amazing! Good selections of steaks which were all well cooked and very tasty the sides were also very good and perfect for sharing! A bit pricey but not too bad for the location.
