The Royal Thai Embassy in London (สถานเอกอัครราชทูตไทย ณ กรุงลอนดอน) is the diplomatic mission of Thailand in the United Kingdom. It has been located at its current address since 1965. The building is one of a group of Grade II listed buildings in Queen's Gate, which includes the Bangladesh High Commission next door.Thailand also maintains an Office of the Air Attaché at 2 Victoria Road, South Kensington, an Office of Commercial Attaché at 11 Hertford Street, Mayfair and an Office of Educational Attaché at 28 Prince's Gate, South Kensington. The Ambassador's Residence is located in a separate building on Tregunter Road, Brompton.

Our experiences have been great. We booked online and contacted them via email, so there was no need to make any phone calls. They responded to our emails within one to two days. All of the staff is very welcoming and helpful. The process was smooth because we prepared all essential documents beforehand.
I applied for Thai visa in February, and I was told that for my nationality, they send my documents to Thailand for checking and this may take 2 to 3 months. I waited for 3 months and paid for the visa fee and they just cancelled the visa application after 3 months wait! They ask for flight booking and hotel booking, to waste your money. I went to embassy several times as it’s impossible to get to anyone through the phone, I also emailed many times and just received automated reply that it takes 2 to 3 months to receive the visa. When I went to embassy to check if Thailand ministry of foreigners received my documents and everything is fine, staff told me we can’t check with Thailand embassy and contact them! I don’t understand what kind of communication is that? You can send the documents but you can’t check if they received it or not?! And if they are going to even look at the documents?! This is insane and unacceptable. Waste people time and money! P.S I previously received Thailand visa when I applied from another country and it didn’t take even 2 months to receive it. It means there is something wrong in your system.
Was apprehensive as they aren't great at communicating don't answer the phone days to receive a generic email. Was a 7hr round trip so a little concerned however they dealt with my issue quickly knolligable freandly staff a pleasant experience. 10 minute walk from the south kensington train station
I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from Thailand embassy UK Despite numerous attempts to contact them via phone calls and emails, I have yet to receive a response. This lack of communication is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the embassy commitment to customer satisfaction. I will be selecting different country for tourism
I love travelling so I have been to loads of countries where I have never been asked to come for interview or such personal questions. Went for interview where I have been asked for personal information and to check if my friends are coming to see me there or not which I did not get it. I showed my flight and hotel booking my bank statement my accountant letter but she wanted to see my WhatsApp chat where it says they are coming to see me or not which was a big concern for her I don’t know why and why am I bound to tell them for visa purposes when I m fulfilling all the legal requirements? It’s like they have given authority to illiterate/unprofessional and rude staff to represent their country. To be honest even if I get my visa I m still not going that’s enough to know how welcoming they are and how are they supporting tourism. Zero star with suggestion - PLEASE PROVIDE ADEQUATE TRAINING TO YOUR STAFF if you want to build good reputation in tourist world.
I have been trying to contact the Thai Embassy by phone. 8 times in 8 days and over an hour each time call waiting just to be informed that I'm in a queue and nobody answers. I'm desperate to speak to someone there as I have issues concerning my evisa application. Everytime I send my completed application form, it's sent back asking for details that I've already sent. I'm at my wits end as I've booked my flight for late April. What else can I do ??
I wish I have mark zero star here. The E visa mentioned can be sorted in 3-5 working days and I’ve waited over 15 days and it is still pending on approval. Emailed many times and no response at all. No one accepts calls. I have to come to embassy as my flight is about tomorrow however the reception said she cannot do anything about that! Horrible experience.
Impossible to get through to them via phone. I have applied for a NON-B Visa but have since received 3 emails requesting further documentation that I have already supplied. Is the system broke or something?? I have supplied the same documentation 3 times now. Every time the exact automated message comes back to me. Please reply to your emails Royal Thai Embassy because I need clarification on my Visa asap !!!!
Thailand continue to beat beautiful kind gentle crying baby elephants to death I saw this recently and cannot not raise a complaint. Suk Dee was particularly gentle and kind her face being beaten was horrifying , it was like a child beaten tied down until dead - horrifying
I applied for a visa for Thailand at the last minute. I used the evisa online service and submitted all of my documents with very little time to spare. I was getting worried because I only had less than two weeks to my holidays and I couldn’t contact the embassy by telephone, even though I tried daily. After looking online I decided to visit the Thai embassy in London. The lady was very nice and friendly and whilst she did reiterate that there is a 10-15 day wait she said she would try and see what the status was. Without a few minutes I had a request for further documents and later that day I received my visa. I know the standard process is for 10-15 days but it was a real help and I’m so grateful to the lady who assisted at the embassy.
