Had a lovely meal here for my mums birthday last week. We were all impressed by the size of the portions for the price & everything tasted amazing. Kids meals were great & staff were lovely too.
Went for lunch at the Royal Oak, Tickhill today & it was very nice. Kept seeing reviews & it looked good so tried it out. Staff very friendly & helpful. Food was amazing & plenty of it. Will definately be returning again xx
Our table was booked for 3.30pm, on arrival all other tables were occupied which was good to see, I recommend booking in advance. We were seated next to the bar which was convenient for ordering drinks & food as it meant we didn't need to leave our seats. Staff were friendly and attentive, food came out fast and was really good portion sizes for a lunch menu. We opted for Fish & Chips and Chicken Enchiladas off the 2 for £15 lunch menu. Great value for money. The Oaks chips are the best chips this side of town in my opinion. Looking forward to our next visit
Me and the wife visited the royal Oak for the first time last Sunday the 28th August and we had the Sunday lunch with 3 meats which were gammon Turkey and beef, which were cooked to perfection. Also the vegetables were lovely especially the cauliflower cheese . And desert which we had to share cos we couldn't eat one each,we had chocolate fudge cake and icecream was also gorgeous. The staff were very friendly,we highly recommend the royal Oak, we will definitely be back very soon in fact we in tomorrow .
Stopped off for a business meeting by chance while passing. Service was excellent. Comfortable surroundings and the food was delicious. Home cooked veg and a deep filled pie with plenty of meat. Will definitely return!
Went for a meal out with friends. Ordered in advance so didn't have too long to wait to be served. Had the chicken and bacon salad followed by lotus biscoff cheesecake with ice cream. Everything was tasty and well presented.
Visited here twice now and the food has been excellent both times. Amazing portions of delicious food. Love the cosy atmosphere in the pub and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I find the prices to be really reasonable and have been recommending friends and family to visit here for a visit.
Visited on Sunday and had a great time. Food was excellent. i had beef which is sirloin and could have been eaten with a spoon. Wife had beef and pork which was very juicy and tender. Lovely perfectly cooked vegetables, proper homemade Yorkshire pudding and meaty gravy....as good as it gets. Staff were great, couldn't do enough for us and very attentive without being overbearing. Overall it's a great little pub with restaurant quality food. Great value for money, very nice decor and spotlessly clean. Well done all at The Royal Oak.
The food here is amazing, you'll not be disappointed with anything you order. The Sunday lunch was one of the best we've had. Very good prices and the service is fab. We'll be back again for sure!
Really can't fault the place. Service is spot on and the portion sizes are incredible. Would definitely recommend qnd will be returning soon.
