Table booked for 12, arrived 11:50, told can’t go to table yet but sit in bar area and have drink and it’ll ready to move to table at 12… we did this, along with others. At 12 sure enough we were shown to our table, I had to swap chairs firstly as the intended chair was covered in food from previous occupant, table was dirty and sticky and we had to ask for it to be cleaned, surely the cleaning should have been done before 12 otherwise why not allow us to our table then? Ordered smothered chicken- see photo of dried up chicken that’s not really smothered in anything and didn’t taste of anything either, I’m just thankful the plate was clean… I will not return here ever again. I gave it 3 stars because our female server was very good and apologetic and it really wasn’t her fault at all.
Nice please, really cheep. I had the pork ribs. The meat was melting in my mouth, but I'd lake a bit less bbq sauce because it was too overwhelming for my taste. Service was quick and staff very polite despite being busy. Will visit again.
The meal looked really nice, however..the salmon was nice and hot, the chicken was warm. When I asked if they could heat up the chicken, one waitress told me it was the salad it was on that cooled it down ...so no. Another waitress asked if I wanted to exchange the meal. I said no had lost my appetite....she was more cheery than the first and served us a dessert with a smile. The first waitress must have been having a bad day as I never saw her smile while we were there. So mixed review..been to other Beefeaters, had brilliant meals and excellent service. Will give this one a miss for a while and try again maybe next year.
As far as pub meals go this has got to be one of the best I've been to. Server named "James H" couldn't of been more helpful. It really was absolutely delicious not a single complain.
Lovely and airy especially when it's 32 degrees outside, staff very friendly and helpful , food absolutely beautiful loads to choose from and kids eat free too which is a bonus , loads of different things to eat and drink for breakfast, will definitely be returning, thank you
We have been twice now but this time we brought our little boy with us. We had the buffet breakfast there's a wide variety of food & drinks and it's all delicious. Allison was so helpful with taking our order and showing us where things was. She was really friendly with our little boy he loved the attention. She kept checking in on us that everything was OK and couldn't be anymore helpful 5 star worker! We will definitely return too "the moo moo cow pub" as my little one calls it.
Worst breakfast buffet we have had. Used alot of these buffet breakfasts and although they do vary, this one stands out. Dirty, rude staff, big queues for food, which was almost cold. Complaint lodged, but no response recieved. Avoid at all costs.
As I travel all over the UK for my work I stay in lots of Premier Inns and eat in the accompanying pubs the service is different every time. The evening meal service was first class, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was great too, the breakfast team didn't disappoint either again very good and supplied everything that was required to go with your breakfast at the start in a small bowl so no need to ask once your food arrives.
Having Beefeater as part of Premier Inn only devalues the Premier Inn brand. Poor food for the money. Pints not full Pints and 9 chips with a meat lasagne that was just sauce and no mince to be seen. Frankie and Bennys round the corner is a better option. Beefeater must have gone Veggieater
Lovely meal with fab service. Only let down was having to wait a while for the bill.Food: 5/5
